Making history! 🌽 Ashley Nelson ran 22:51 to place 19th in the Blue race at the Augustana Interregional Invite yesterday, besting her PR from last year’s MIAC championships by 8 seconds. This is the fastest 6k run by a Cobber since Meritt Miller in 2019! Tyler Goss ran a breakout 25:22 to place 7th in the Blue race, a 34 second PR! This is the fastest 8k from a Cobber since Coach Money in 2021 (MIAC Champ and 21st place All-American at D3 Nats that year). The only other Cobber faster in the last 15 years is Tom Sederquist (39th at D3 Nationals in 2011). So proud of the work these two are putting in and the progress they’ve earned this fall through their tenacity and dedication. They’re awesome athletes, but more importantly are amazing teammates and leaders 💛 #ROLLCOBBS #proudcoach
