Fitness has always been a huge part of who I am but my relationship with it looks a lot different these days. 🖤

For a long time, especially during my college athlete and bodybuilding years, fitness was about pushing harder. More discipline. More structure. More intensity. Always chasing the next level of my physique.

And I’m grateful for that version of me. She taught me just how strong and capable I could be.

But stepping away gave me the opportunity to discover another side of myself.

I started embracing my femininity again. My softness. My confidence. The way I wanted to feel in my body and not just how I wanted it to look.

And somewhere along the way, I realized strength and femininity were never opposites.

I can love lifting weights and love feeling beautiful.
I can be muscular and soft.
Disciplined and feminine.
Strong without always needing to be in “go mode.”

Fitness didn’t take away from my femininity; it actually helped me redefine it on my own terms.

These days, I’m not interested in shrinking either side of myself. I want the strength and the softness. The discipline and the grace. The muscle and the femininity.

Maybe becoming your strongest self isn’t always about becoming harder. Sometimes it’s about finally giving yourself permission to soften. 🖤
