Three national championships, an Oceania crown and some of the greatest Socceroos to ever play the game... @adelaidecity_fc were once giants of Australian football.

Aurelio Vidmar. Alex Tobin. Damian Mori. Carl Veart. The Aloisi brothers.

A club that helped shape the national game before disappearing from the top flight more than two decades ago. Now, 80 years after their formation, the Black and Whites are dreaming big again.

And their president believes they’re ready for the A-League.

“In our heart of hearts, we’re ready. In my opinion, we could be asked tomorrow. Providing it’s affordable.”

In an exclusive interview with Building Blocks, published by Football360, @angecarrozza outlined Adelaide City’s ambitions, and the one major obstacle standing in their way.

Could one of Australia’s most decorated clubs finally return to the top?

A rewarding afternoon spent with @hia_southaustralia celebrating so many wonderful women in the building and construction industry at the HIA SA Building Women Awards.

Seeing our very own Carmel win the Professional Business Woman Award is such a proud moment and a great recognition of her hard work, dedication and contribution to the industry. Swipe right to see some special moments from this afternoon as we celebrated with our team.

A very well-deserved achievement — Congratulations Carmel 🤍

Thank you HIA SA for a great afternoon.

I was asked by Adelaide City Football Club to tell a story of football that echoes in almost every community in Australia that holds the sport and culture around it close to their heart.

Thanks to @adelaidecity_fc @angecarrozza @mariuszanin everyone I spoke to who shared their story and provided another window into an amazing legacy.
Looking forward to completing the full version. Coming soon!
Thanks to @dtang7d for editing and filming and being part of the process.
