A Day in the Life of a Coach πŸ₯‹πŸ₯Š I start my day with my morning recovery routine: cold plunge, red light therapy, vibration plate, and then my supplements. πŸ’ͺ From there, it’s off to the gym for morning striking and MMA grappling classes. πŸ₯ŠπŸ€Όβ€β™‚️ Then I grab a well deserved lunch at Ruby’s BBQ πŸ– before heading home for a midday nap. 😴 Once I’m recharged, it’s right back to the gym for the evening striking and mma grappling classes.** Rinse. Repeat. Recover. Coach**!!!πŸ”₯ #DayInTheLife #Coach #Striking #Grappling #VictoryMMA @victorymmacs

You either win or you learn. It’s a cliché, but it’s also one of the biggest truths in this sport. I’m incredibly proud of @angel.gardea He fought his ass off and had several moments where we were just a few inches away from taking that W home. Unfortunately, we walked away with a decision loss, but what impressed was his attitude afterwards. We’ll take the lessons, make the adjustments, and come back stronger. πŸ”₯πŸ₯Š #FightersSpirit #BackStronger #NeverStopLearning #Victory #HardworkDedication β€’ β€’ ***Come checkout Victory MMAπŸ₯ŠπŸ₯‹πŸ€Όβ€β™‚οΈπŸ™‚. The Din Thomas Method: At first, I didn’t get it… but now I understand. πŸ˜‚ Tell your athlete they’ve peaked and then quit on them. The motivation to prove you wrong becomes their greatest inspiration to push harder, dig deeper, and find that next level. I see the method behind the madness! 🧠πŸ”₯ Sometimes the best motivation is making someone believe they have something left to prove. πŸ₯ŠπŸ’― #Coaching #MMA #Mindset #Victory #HardworkDedication β€’ β€’ ***Come checkout Victory MMAπŸ₯ŠπŸ₯‹πŸ€Όβ€β™‚οΈπŸ™‚. On Wednesdays after warm-ups and drills, we glove up and get some FLOW ROUNDS in! πŸ₯ŠπŸ”₯ Every round, we grab a new partner. Switching out between beginner or advanced, tall or small, young or old, orthodox or Southpaw. The goal is simple: move, experiment, create, and learn no matter who your partner is. Flow sparring gives you the freedom to try new techniques without the pressure of getting dinged up or turning every round into a competition. It’s a chance to work on your weaknesses, explore new options, and develop techniques you might not otherwise try during hard sparring. You don’t always get better by going harder. Sometimes, you get better by thinking more. πŸ§ πŸ’― Flow. Experiment. Create. Improve. Repeat. #Boxing #FlowSparring #MMA #HardworkDedication #VictoryMMA β€’ β€’ β€’ ***Come checkout Victory MMAπŸ₯ŠπŸ₯‹πŸ€Όβ€β™‚οΈπŸ™‚. Beginners to pro athletes are welcome!
