💙 SOULFUL SUNDAY | GRATITUDE

Today, I’m feeling grateful. 💙

Grateful for the women who have shaped me, loved me, challenged me, encouraged me, prayed with me, made me laugh, and walked beside me through different seasons of my life.

Starting with my mom, the loving women who have been there throughout my journey, and the ones who came into my life exactly when I needed them. 💕

For me, wellness isn’t just about what I eat, how much I move, or the habits I’m working on. It’s also about what I feed my mind, heart 💜 and soul.

And gratitude is one of those things I want to practice every day. 🙏

There’s actually science behind that feeling: a 2025 meta-analysis of 145 papers involving more than 24,800 people found that gratitude interventions produced a small overall improvement in well-being.

So today, I’m choosing to pause. To remember.
To appreciate.
To give thanks.
To celebrate the people who have helped shape me.

Sunday Soul reminder:
💙 Gratitude changes what we notice.
💙 Gratitude helps us appreciate where we are.
💙 Gratitude reminds us that we don’t have to walk this journey alone.

Life is better together. 💙

What are you grateful for today? 🙏✨

Just because October STILL…givin! 💅🏾

As women & mothers, we needed this (& more 👀 lol). Something I wanted for my birth month was for some of my girls to take time out to JUST BE. So, I celebrated them, too. It’s all our birthday! 😆🥳 I’m so proud of each one of them & glad we crossed paths in some way.

Nika, Jenn, Krissy, Peaches, & Big Mama, y’all are not only beautiful- y’all are amazing, intelligent, & talented Queens! I love you & each one of your stories. Y’all are getting your flowers NOW! Roll Call!! 💃🏾 😘

Where do I even begin…

I am so proud of my friend/sister @calskitchenatl When man literally said no God said YES. She was diagnosed with #CVID in her late 40’s and the doctor’s told her she would not live to see 50. Today she is 56 and thriving 🙌🏽🙌🏽

Yesterday she celebrated the 5 Year Anniversary of her 4th baby (she has 3 children) Cal’s Kitchen. Not only did she celebrate her business she celebrated other survivors and I was honored to emcee/coordinate this event with her. We ate, laughed, cried, and went to church.

Yesterday one of the survivors said that you have a love for people and you are genuine in all that you do. I am so happy to witness you receiving your flowers on THIS side of the dirt. Beverly as I said yesterday it has been an honor to walk beside you. I am so proud of you. Keep raising the bar for some reason I feel like you are just getting started.

Love you my friend 💋

(I “borrowed” a lot of pictures) 😍
