The ACE NextGen SoCal Member Appreciation Dinner was about the people behind the moments. The wins big and small. The events, the growth, the friendships, the late nights, the laughs, and yes, even the pickleball era.

ACE NextGen SoCal wouldn’t be what it is without its members. This night was simply our thank you.

Thank you to everyone who showed up, supported one another, and helped shape this chapter. It meant a lot to pause and reflect on what actually changed because people chose community.

Grateful for every member who made 2025 what it was. Excited for what’s ahead!!!

Thank you @belacangrill for taking such great care of us and hosting our Member Appreciation Dinner.

So many amazing memories partnering with @acenextgensocal @abalosangeles @asianamericanmuseumoc for my performance of “Holy Shiitake! A Wok Star is Born” at @ompatthegem in Garden Grove ❤️ I’m in awe of what these orgs do to uplift and support our diverse SoCal #AAPI communities and celebrate Asian American storytelling 🙏🏻 Many thanks to @lindanguyen_community @dalewildting @homeandyonderpaul for making this production possible and to all the friends who came out to support (and celebrate into the night at the @aumbeerhouse after party 🥳 )

Where Imagination Meets Intention

When my favorite things come together — books, boba, and brilliant people — it’s always a good day. 💛

Loved celebrating The Vale by @abigailhingwen — now a NYT Best Seller! Hearing Abigail, @msleasalonga, and @johnaoshima talk about how the story came to life, moderated by @rottendoubt, left me thinking about something beautiful:

✨When used intentionally, technology doesn’t replace imagination — it can amplify it.✨

From heartfelt convos to boba @bobaguys + Filipino bites @hifikitchen , it was a night that reminded me how powerful storytelling and community can be. 🌟

And thank you @mrchristophersean for giving me tips on how to start an acting career 😆 😆

An unforgettable evening at the private screening and book launch of @thevalemovie

The night brought together an inspiring panel with author and director Abigail Hing Wen @abigailhingwen , Tony Award–winning actress and singer Lea Salonga @msleasalonga , and animation director John Aoshima @johnaoshima, moderated by Patrick Lee @rottendoubt , Co-Founder and the founding CEO of Rotten Tomatoes. Their conversation on storytelling, culture, and representation was both powerful and moving.

It was an honor for ACE NextGen to be part of this experience and community celebration.

Special thanks to all our sponsors, @limpriscilla @jpmorgan for organizing such a seamless and memorable event. Boba Guys @bobaguys , KACE @drinkkace , and Hi-Fi Kitchen @hifikitchen for the food and drinks.

Congratulations to Abigail Hing Wen on the dual launch of her debut novel The Vale and its short film prequel The Vale: Origins. A true celebration of imagination, artistry, and culture.
