What can we say, it was a heck of a rideโ€ผ๏ธ These 5 young Governors have contributed this year in a way that cannot be ignored. ๐Ÿซก They have helped shift the culture again at Clinton Baseball. Together raising pride, dedication and competitiveness. We wish you all the luck in the continuation of your baseball and academic journey ๐Ÿ‘จโ€๐ŸŽ“ ๐Ÿ–คโ€ผ๏ธ Clinton baseball- our future is bright because the foundation they helped build this year and being able to change a 2 win team into a team who put up some great battles with tough opponents. ๐Ÿ˜ค This year, the Clinton Governors put up 10 wins despite a 5-9 regular season record making us the 2nd place team in our Bronx Triple-A North Division. ๐Ÿ‘ Today, in the first round of the playoffs against the GW Trojans, we fell short 11-9 in a battle that took two days to complete. Both teams battled to the very end that couldโ€™ve gone either way and thatโ€™s the beauty of the game. ๐Ÿ’” We could learn from our losses as much as there is to learn from our victories. ๐Ÿ™๐Ÿพ We are proud of our young men wearing the black & red, and the future is bright with returning Juniors who are determined to lead us to new heights. For parents, coaches, future players and friends, we thank you for your support and encouragement this school season and we look forward to seeing you again in 2026. Tee drill with Intent ! Ft @angel_tyuu THE LESS THE BETTER. Purpose: -Create intent ! A swing WITHOUT intent is not a swing -Remain short and explosive to the ball -Create barrel path -Keep eyes on the ball -Controlled and quality swings -Force the hitter continuously repeat the same approach to help it become muscle memory What to look ๐Ÿ‘€ for?: -Hitters not falling off and losing balance -Solid contact -Hitters not taking their eyes off the ball or turning their heads -Hitters understanding their mistakes and making adjustments. The more you understand your mistakes, the faster you understand the solution ! Alternative Tools: - Construction Cones -Soft toss -Hit an old tire ๐Ÿ›ž Etc. #hittingdrills #hitting #baseball #baseballlife #mlb #hittingcoach #softball #youthbaseball #baseballdrills #baseballtraining #hsbaseball #baseballislife #softballdrills #baseballmom #hittingpost #baseballpractice #pitching #baseballdad #travelball #baseballseason #baseballlove #baseballgame #baseballism #baseballcoach #fielding #baseballplayers #softballlife #bronxbaseball #milb #baseballcoaching
