POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED

My first official trailer for my first official feature 🏜️
The teaser was created by me and released in front of “Terrifier 2” at theatres all across the country in late 2022. Literally played right after the Kidman ad at AMCs, which was a gay bonus.

Deep thanks to @gbrandon.hill and @bradmiska for making this happen and taking a risk by putting out this divisive-as-all-fuck film.

And @bluefinchfilms for taking us on internationally.

And thanks to my cast and all of the musicians who helped create this thing. And @monkeylandaudio for always being the best place to hang out and do sound 🎼 And all the festivals and critics who let people know we existed.

And thanks to everyone who watched it 🪱

Some are screaming…others are shouting…one of the most violently divisive horror films of the decade has found its way out of cinemas and into your home. THE OUTWATERS ripped through the silver screen and drew a blood-red line down the aisle, splitting theatergoers from their beating hearts to their bursting brains and whipping viscera into a furious frenzy.

Critics have called it “brutally brilliant” and “compellingly creepy”. Audiences have called it everything under the scorching sun. Just what happened to a music video crew who set their sights on the Mojave moonlight and a white dress in the wind? Just how were they led into the darkest of desert nights?

Press play and decide for yourself, but be warned — the shivers linger long after the last credits roll, and the blood onscreen may very well be yours 📼

Check out @angelabasolis as Lacy Everwood in “The House on Axe Lane” - a film we made while stoned in college, which is now available at Rainlight Video on my Patreon 🪓

Thanks to @deathbytoys for this deepest of deep cuts and to @makeupbaroness for allowing us to use her clothes which are now immortalized 👗

Also @rmccarthyjames has a wonderful new book called “Whack Job: A History of Axe Murder”.
