I had the honor, privilege and pleasure of judging at another @uk_calisthenics_org regional last weekend. This was the last of 5 regionals this year and was held @hella_hq

I helped judge endurance along side @simao_calilife , and power with @aaron_lauder

Also judging endurance was @turboreps
With @lailag.v and @lynch_sw also assisting, and head judge @woj.calisthenics overseeing to ensure judging is to of a high standard, and everyone judged equally.

A day filled with incredible strength, with athletes showcasing their hard work.
Well done to everyone that entered, and congratulations to everyone who qualified for the national.

There are always good vibes within the Cali community 💫
A very inspiring day.
Sorry if i only got to chat with you briefly.

Big thanks, as always to @lynch_sw and @woj.calisthenics who work their arses off. Love ya 🫶🏻💜

3 Months Before Nationals ⬇️

The first time I saw Kultured Strength was online. The second time was in March at Regionals. I came just to spectate and help out with spotting and loading. I had no idea that would be the moment that took my streetlifting to the next level.

I overheard @jomei.sensei saying he was looking for a -87kg athlete. I was already thinking about getting coaching, so I introduced myself. He invited me down to the gym to train and that’s where it all started.

I actually regretted not applying for Regionals. I didn’t think I was strong enough to compete. But when online entries reopened, Jermaine asked, “Yo, you want to go to Nationals?” and I qualified.

We only had 3 months to prepare, but I was locked in and committed to making my debut something special.

I ended up placing 3rd at Nationals and set a new National Record in the -87kg class all thanks to him and the team.

The amount of progress I’ve made in such a short time has been unreal. The energy and vibe of the team is unmatched. Going to the gym has become the best part of my day.

Now, I’m fully focused on the year ahead, increasing my total and joining the incredible athletes heading to WORLDS.

Thank you, @kultured.strength 🤍

Last weekend marked the end of the 2024 competition season for the @kultured.strength team, and I couldn’t be prouder of what we’ve accomplished this year.

Just recently, we’ve had 15 athletes compete across two competitions within a month, a huge milestone for the team. Watching everyone push themselves and step onto the platform has been nothing short of inspiring.

A massive congratulations to all the athletes who competed over the weekend. Special shoutout to @ptcindy_ and @bestversionofliz, who made their competition debuts and absolutely killed it, both podiumed overall and took 1st place in their respective weight categories. I’m so proud of what you’ve both achieved this year.

To the rest of my incredible athletes, @fourfiitness, @_kellycho, @haosijia.moves, @ems.ats, @lucyjoslin, and @elli.tsintzas. Thank you so much for trusting me as your coach. Your hard work, dedication, and belief in me mean everything. Congratulations on all your successes this year!

To all the other athletes that competed over the weekend, congratulations! It’s amazing to see new faces and familiar ones and It’s beautiful to see the UK Streetlifting scene growing.

This year has deepened my love for coaching and motivated me to push even harder to help my athletes reach new heights. Through both mistakes and triumphs, I’ve learned so much, and I’m excited to implement changes that will elevate my coaching. Coaching isn’t just about writing programs, it’s about understanding, adapting, and guiding. Sure, ChatGPT can write a program, but it can’t be a coach.

A huge thank you to @bodymastery_ and @bodystronguk_ for everything you do for this incredible sport, providing athletes and coaches a stage to showcase their hard work. Your support is invaluable.

To @mission.e1, thank you for offering such amazing training facilities that we use week in, week out. Your support does not go unnoticed.

And finally, to @puremusclesgym, thank you for always being a huge supporter of the sport. From day one, you’ve been there, and we’re grateful to have a space like yours to train and grow.

Here’s to everything we’ve achieved in 2024 and an even bigger 2025 ahead!
