Your nervous system doesn’t need more pressure. It needs a long exhale.

We got practical in the last episode of the Nervous System Series: humming, the big sigh, butterfly taps, bare feet in the grass, and a 30-second hug (yes, thirty).

Free. Portable. Doable in a parking lot.

These won’t make the hard stuff disappear. They help you stay with yourself long enough to move through it.

Which one are you trying first? Tell us below.

Ever feel like your nervous system has a mind of its own?

One minute you’re calm and connected. The next, you’re anxious, overwhelmed, or ready to shut down.
Think of it like a traffic light. Green, yellow, red. 🚦

Recognizing where you are can help you respond with curiosity instead of judging yourself for how you’re feeling.
We’re breaking it down in Episode 77 of The Life Coach Lounge.

And your body reacts like it’s actually happening!

That’s the thing about stress. It’s not just in your head. Your nervous system gets involved, too.

In Episode 76 of The Life Coach Lounge, we’re talking about the vagus nerve, the gut-brain connection, and why your body responds the way it does.

Your brain can be dramatic. Your nervous system didn’t get the memo.

On Episode 76 of the LCL, we talked about the vagus nerve. Why is this important??
The longest nerve in your body is the main pathway of the “rest and digest” nervous system. It connects your heart, lungs, and gut… which explains why chronic stress can show up as digestive issues, a racing heart, or shallow breathing.
Listen to this week’s episode to learn how to improve your vagal tone and calm yourself more easily after a stressful encounter.
God made your body to heal and rest 💖

Stop fixing your feelings.

We waste so much energy beating ourselves up for human emotions, treating them like a glitch to solve instead of a signal to listen to. They aren’t meant to be fixed—they’re meant to be felt.

On The Life Coach Lounge, we dive into:
• Why emotions aren’t a math problem
• What “swanning” means and how it changes everything
• Real, practical ways to actually support yourself
