One Love is always a time. Despite a little dehydration from my trip to Japan and an unforgiving heat during the weekend, I had an amazing time. Red Clay makes dancing on the pedals a full-fledge celebration. And what a joy to spend road time with my extended family. It’s a Black family reunion on two wheels. Fly kits, stunning bikes and beautiful people!!! My body is tired, but my soul is full. Already looking forward to next year - the fun, the foolery and the family! One Love… Forever… #fitness #redclaycycling #blackcyclist #cyclistsofinstagram #beardgang

Super ride with the Prison Road Chain Gang out of Springville. You owe it to your self to get out there, good roads, low traffic and minimal forced stops! #strokeLIVING

MACC ONE LOVE: Part 3

The Black Cycling family reunion wrapped up for me on that Sunday. It was, as it always is, a spicy ride. A few crashes happened (wishing a speedy and full recovery to those folks that went down). After seeing the first, I decided to calm it down a bit… No need to go 23/24 mph on my tired legs. Rode with my Soul City fam for a bit, then a bit more with my Grind City people… On the way back, Lady Porter, @theecarbonqueen, popped out from the group. No need for her to ride alone, so I popped out with her. Then, we decided to chase joy and break away. Spent 15 miles running from two different pelotons, with two goals in mind: 1. Don’t get caught, and 2. Catch all the joy we could. What a ride, what a weekend, what a dance on two pedals. ‘til next time… One Love!

Part 1: On Saturday, I had the heavy privilege of riding the 51 mile route marched by those who believed in a greater sense of freedom for Black folk. I’ll never take for granted the blood, the sweat, the tears and the lives sacrificed for the comforts I enjoy today. So thankful for those who came before me, those who paved a way. And what a joy it was to share the experience with some really dope cyclists!

What time was it? 7 AM and 26°! But I was there to support @stuck.moving at his first trail event! I got in 10 miles on the road, 8 running and 2.5 walking, while he finished his first 25k at the #southeasterntrailseries #BloodRock at @oakmountainstatepark

We always show up for each other!

Happy Thanksgiving‼️🍂🦃🍃🏃‍♂️🏃 Thankful for so much this morning: God waking me, the ability to run healthy, friends and family and so much more‼️ A big thank you to @lululemon and @ensleyhealthclub for partnering with us as the Run Bike & Swim Foundation puts on it's annual #TurkeyTrotAtTheJunction in historic downtown Ensley. This race benefits giving children free swim lessons at the YMCA. Thank you to ALL who participated ‼️🤝 #lululemonambassador #running #lululemon #f2fsrunningandfitness #thanksgiving
