One of LA’s most iconic pasta dishes and honestly, it lives up to every bit of the reputation. 🍝
Angelini Osteria’s Lasagna Verde is the kind of dish that makes you understand why people drive across the city for it.
Delicate green spinach pasta, rich beef and veal ragù, layered just right!!

Save this for your next LA pasta night and swipe to see everything else we ordered 👇

Angelini Osteria (☆☆☆☆)
Los Angeles, CA

■■ For travel videos; link in bio.■■

Southern California may not be a capital for regional Italian cuisine, but Angelini is a delightful exception, seamlessly marrying local California produce with uncompromising authenticity.
Our evening began on a high note with a stellar Piemontese Barolo. The antipasti set the stage: a standout presentation of ricotta-stuffed fried zucchini blossoms, a classic prosciutto and melon duo, a burrata caprese elevated by peerless heirloom tomatoes, and a vibrant octopus salad.
For mains, the tagliolini al limone dazzled with its refreshing, perfectly al dente bite, matched by a generous tonnarelli allo scoglio brimming with clams, mussels, lobster, shrimp, and calamari. A masterfully grilled, tender ribeye with arugula and Parmigiano, alongside an impeccably tender and creamy sea bream, rounded out the savories. Dessert brought charmingly filled profiteroles and a well-balanced apple tart.
With service that struck the ideal balance of attentiveness and discretion, the main drawbacks are the cramped seating—both indoors and out—and a few minor details that could elevate the experience further, such as serving warm chocolate sauce over the profiteroles. Minor tweaks aside, this is an exceptional meal—and a table we will gladly return to.
