Today, on World Suicide Prevention Day, POLAR means a little more.

Some battles are loud. Others are fought quietly behind smiles, accomplishments, relationships and the version of ourselves the world gets to see.

POLAR explores the complexities of the human mind, emotional pain and the pieces of ourselves we don’t always know how to explain.

As a filmmaker, I believe storytelling can do more than entertain. It can start conversations. It can make someone feel seen. And sometimes, it can remind someone that their story isn’t over.

Check on your people today. Not just the ones who look like they’re struggling. Check on the strong ones too.

Your life matters. Your story matters. Stay.

REINTRODUCING ANGEL TERRON

After more than 25 years in this industry, Angel Terron isn’t starting over. She’s simply stepping into a season where the woman behind the work deserves to be seen just as much as the work itself. Angel has spent decades creating, writing, directing, recording and using her voice to advocate for others. She has lived enough life to have something to say and built enough experience to know exactly how she wants to say it.
This chapter feels different. It’s more intentional. More personal. More aligned with the woman and creative she has become. There is still more to create. More stories to tell. More doors to open. And after 25+ years, Angel Terron is nowhere near finished.

Consider this the reintroduction.

A year ago today, we filmed POLAR — a movie written by Angel Terron. What an emotional scene with @officialdreakelly.

It’s crazy to look back and realize how quickly time flies. From being on set and bringing the story to life to now being able to watch the finished film earlier this year! It’s a blessing to be part of the journey.

If you haven’t seen it yet, POLAR is available now on Tubi! Go check it out and support the film!
