Music. Pure and simple.

POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED

This is a Life2Song.

It was born from the voice and lived wisdom of someone who’s spent her whole life around horses —
a woman who’s carried bales, brushed coats, and listened more than she spoke.
Her stories carry depth, grit, and love — the kind you only earn with time.

We turned her words into a song.
This is the chorus, one of many in our Through the Eyes of a Horse collection — a Life2Song series rooted in the healing, mystery, and power of the equine spirit.

“O Appaloosa, how you stay
Wild and Free
Out in the stable is a beautiful mystery
Like a bale on my shoulder becomes my therapy
O Appaloosa, keep on talking to me.”

Songs like this remind us that wisdom lives in unlikely places — in barns, in silences, in shared moments between horse and human.

Some songs are meant to be passed down.

This one came through while working with the Inspiring Children Foundation —
a project rooted in truth, healing, and giving voice to what too often goes unspoken between generations.

We’re not just singing for today.
We’re singing for the ones who came before us…
and the ones we’re raising now.

This is part of the Life2Song collection — created to hold space for the stories, struggles, and love that shape our lives.

Your $10/month to #Spotify doesn’t reach most of the people making the music you love.
The artists who give it value? They see scraps — if anything at all.

When I sit down to write something I plan to share, I give it everything.
Not for virality. Not for ego.
But because I know music can be medicine.

And yeah — I pray it comes back to me sustainably.
Because that’s not out of alignment. That’s basic energetic exchange.

We’re in a strange moment in history.
Art used to live outside of money.
Now it’s tracked, streamed, dissected…
But are we really supporting the ones creating it?

What if we added an art tax — something that actually went to the artists?
A modern tithe for the makers?

Just something to consider.
Because the way we consume is shaping the future we live in.

Music doesn’t belong to experts.
It’s for everyone — always has been.

There’s beauty in the basic and familiar form of a chord progression.
And there’s beauty in the colors that show up as you spend more time with it.
Both matter. And both are very hip.

If this stuff sparks questions — call me.
Seriously. That’s why I do this.

“This is what it looks like when a room remembers how to sing together.
No audience. No performance. Just people… reclaiming something sacred.

At @saturdaysoulco , I led the group in a singalong of ‘Hey Mama’ — a love song to the elements. We weren’t just singing about nature, we were singing with it.

Moments like this are why I do what I do — guiding people back to their voice, their story, their connection to the source of life.

Through Life2Song, we help individuals, families, and communities remember who they are through song.
And on Angel Radio we amplify these moments — turning them into ripples that can be felt far beyond one room.

This is more than music.
It’s a return to ourselves and our most ancient language.”

I guess the light comes in in many ways

Hey babe, it’s a bright light

All I want to do is to write songs and sing them
with my friends.

And when my friends write songs, I want to sing those with them.

What can I say….I’m not here for the success or to prove anything in a world that craves attention.

It’s crystal clear that we all want the same direction….which is center. So let’s keep moving that direction by embracing each other around good music and good intention. The best we can do is try our best.

The viper room is a dark room and when the music plays, it’s full of light. Let’s be that: light in a dark place.

Come sing with us on April 12 at 6pm.

Calling You Home isn’t just a house concert; it’s a soulful journey woven through the harmonies of live music, the tranquility of mindfulness, and the warmth of authentic community. At the heart of our gatherings is the magic of acoustic melodies performed by both emerging talents and established professionals, creating a tapestry of sounds that speaks directly to the soul

Calling You Home is more than an event; it’s a movement towards deeper understanding, acceptance, and unity. It’s an invitation to come as you are, to be met with open arms and an open heart, in a community that believes in the power of coming together to heal, share, and grow. Join us on this journey, and let the music, the moments, and the memories call you home.

In this photo, you see me playing the bass. I was doing that to help my friend @n.e.era explore some new music that we hope to record someday soon.

It fills me up to play with others and work toward lasting good memories.

Ask me about what I’m available for…..if you’re curious to work with me in this context.
