Dear Disney,

I don’t even know where to begin. This has been one of the best experiences I could’ve ever done, and I never would have expected to have the opportunity to live out a dream like this. I’ll always be thankful to Jade for convincing me to take the leap, and getting to experience it all together made it even more special.

I’ve grown and learned so much, met incredible people from all over the world, and most importantly, met some of my best friends. This experience wouldn’t have been the same without the people I met along the way, and I wouldn’t trade it for the world.

I’m so thankful for my parents, family, and friends back home who supported me every step of the way, encouraged me to chase this dream, and came to visit me along the way. You made being so far from home feel a little less far.

And to my Theatre District Merchandise family, thank you for making this experience so special. I never would have thought Merchandise would be such a perfect fit for me, but it became such a huge part of my growth. Thank you for the laughs, the memories, the lessons, and for making work somewhere I genuinely looked forward to being.

I came here hoping to live out a dream, and I’m leaving with more memories, friendships, confidence, and growth than I could have ever imagined. I’ll miss this place and this chapter of my life more than I could ever put into words, but I know a little piece of it will always stay with me.

Thank you for letting me dream a little bigger, believe a little more, and live a story I never thought I’d get to tell.

SIGHH im finally sitting and making this post. The past year working at Hollywood studios and being in Florida was one of the best. Not only did i get to see my best friends often i was able to make many more friends that i cherish. Despite how much i complained at work i absolutely loved being apart of theater animation merchandise. Words cant explain how much ill miss the people i got to work with everyday. To all my friends, i love you all so much, dont be shy id like to keep in contact even though i suck at texting 😭 ill do my best. Nothing much else to say, ill be back soon 💗

And so my Disney college program has come to an end. When I first applied for the DCP I was looking for a change. I applied thinking there was no way I’d get in being so young and with my first application. When I got the offer I was over the moon. I was going to be living and making magic at Walt Disney world. Never did I think that this program would change me. Everyone always asks me if working for Disney has ruined the magic for me. My answer to them is always yes and no. Yes seeing the behind the scenes and backstage of the parks has shown me the ”working” side of Disney. But the magic that I get to create and see working through guests is one like no other. Nothing can top the emotion and joy I saw on guests faces. The Disney college program has allowed me to meet some of the most amazing people ever. Whether it be my roommates, coworkers, or other amazing people I have met on this journey, I am so thankful to call them my friends and get to do this program with them. Being able to call Walt Disney World my home for the last year & make so many amazing memories was an absolute honor. If you are thinking about doing the Disney college program, do it! My Disney journey is far from over, so for now it’s See ya Real Soon ❤️
