All I can say is thank you… 🥹

Today, at my first City Council meeting, I was honored with a Proclamation designating July 21st as my special day in the city of Columbia!

Especially having been born and raised here in Columbia, I can’t fully express how much this means to me that our city council chose to recognize me in this way! I would be remiss if I did not extend a special thank you to @sampjohnson and @colacitymanager for making this happen!! 🫂🤍🩵

While this of course meant a lot to me, I am beyond thankful for the opportunity I was then given to speak about the mission behind Fresh Friends and shine a light on my incredible stars and the people who celebrate and continually push me to be better! I love you all! 💗💗💗

WOW... after six years of hard work, I can finally say that I am your new Little Miss South Carolina Grand Overall Queen!
My heart is overflowing with gratitude. This dream didn’t happen overnight, and there are so many incredible people who helped me reach this moment:
• Aunt Bonnie – Thank you for being the best coach ever. Over the last 6 years, you have become so much more than a coach. Thank you for believing in me, encouraging me, cheering me on, and helping me grow into the little girl I am today. I love you so much, and I wouldn’t be here without you.!
• Jeanna – Thank you for always doing my hair and makeup and ensuring I look my best! No more Stitch in your chair!
• Angel – I could not have won this title without your amazing photography. Thank you for helping me win divisional color and black-and-white, plus OVERALL color!
• Mommy – Thank you for driving me everywhere, staying up late, practicing with me, and pushing me to be the absolute best version of myself. Thank you for believing in every dream I have, especially the big ones. I love you more than words can say.
• Daddy – Thank you for supporting this dream that I have held close to my heart for six years!
• Covered Crown – I could not let this moment pass without thanking Bonnie and the entire Coveted Crown team! Thank you for hosting the preliminary events that gave me the foundation to get where I am today. Bonnie, thank you for guiding me through every phase of competition—from custom designing my dream dress to stage routines in evening gown and fun fashion, and tweaking my talent to perfection. Your direction with interview prep and platform development was instrumental in helping me win overall platform last year and overall interview this year! And thank you to Ally and Jay with The Coveted Crown team for doing some last minute mock interviews so I could get a little extra practice in before the big day! Thank you all for bringing out the absolute best in me!

Tonight we had our contestant lottery, and I’m so excited to officially be Contestant #6 for Miss South Carolina’s Teen Volunteer! 💙👑

The countdown is officially on, and I can’t wait to head to Spartanburg to represent Newberry, share my platform, Cadence for Celiacs, and make memories with an incredible group of young women.

Thank you to everyone who has supported me throughout this journey. Your encouragement means more than you know. See you in Spartanburg! 💙✨

From solidifying my competition placement at Miss America’s Teen to sorting through everything that’s happened recently on social media, I’ve definitely been feeling all of the feels. So, I wanted to take a moment to reflect.🤍

Just one month ago, I was crowned Miss South Carolina’s Teen!! (Still so surreal!! 🥹)

On finals night, I remember bringing my phone and ankle weights backstage to warm up for talent… and then I never went back for my phone! Looking back, I think that was one of the best accidents because I’ve been discovering the sweetest photos and videos that so many people captured for me to relive. ✨

From hearing my name called out by the women who made me believe in this dream to seeing the joy captured within each moment, these videos made me feel like crying all over again!

While I may wear the crown, I have never walked this journey alone. As I took my first walk that night, surrounded by the love of my family and my Miss South Carolina sisters, I was reminded that this crown is strengthened by every friend, family member, mentor, and supporter who has poured into me along the way.

This dream may have my name on it, but it belongs to so many people who believed in me long before I believed I could do it myself. I love you all more than you’ll ever know! Thank you for being a part of this journey! 🤍
