The mic didn’t get it. Software can’t restore what was never recorded.

So the scene went to ADR, and this is the mix after.

Before: location dialogue, unusable.
After: the line, the room, the performance — intact.

That’s what a production is paying for: a scene that survives to delivery.

ADR (automated dialogue replacement) for film and TV: the actor re-records a line to picture when the one from set can’t be used.

A plane over the best take or a lav rubbing on wardrobe can stall a mix. So can a line the director rewrote in the edit.

Thanks 🙏🏾 to two great very talented actors
@barberque.sauce and @solid_duce
For coming to the studio to do ADR on a scene 🎬
They blessed the scene with fresh dialogue for us

We match the mic and distance used on set and the read in the cut, then mix the new line into the room tone of the scene.

When it’s right, the audience hears one performance and the line holds up at QC.

Producers and post supervisors: if you’re heading into picture lock, send us your lock date and the scenes you’re worried about.

unbind Me is out. Produced by @tonesaglaze @msmichelmoore edited by @angeltouchprod & @justbcharles

We handled the full audio post: dialogue editorial, sound design, Foley, original score, and the 7.1.4 Dolby Atmos re-recording mix, through to QC’d deliverables.

One vendor from first dialogue pass to final master means fewer handoffs, fewer surprises at QC, and a delivery date a release can be planned around.
