Every year I have to set a reminder to celebrate the one person in my life that I call my best friend ✨ Ten years in the making of a Scorpio and Leo duo. The only person who I tell everyone is my favorite Leo. My ride or die. My soulmate. The person who will probably inherit everything of mine if I don’t have kids (don’t plan on having any lol). One of the very few and first people to have me laugh so hard because of their own laughter no matter how funny or unfunny something is. The person who understands me. The person who knows me the best. I love you and I’m so excited for this chapter for you. Happy birthday best friend ✨

dreams turned to reality 🥹🙏🏾

— i’m overwhelmed with gratitude and emotion. from the trials and tears to the sleepless nights and moments of doubt. The once actor this time last year and not knowing that she will be here directing a production but as i stand here, seeing our dreams turned into reality, i realize that every ounce of frustration was worth it.

to my incredible actors, who have been here since october and brought characters to life with such passion and depth, thank you for believing in the vision and pouring your hearts into every scene. to our dedicated producers, who tirelessly worked behind the scenes to ensure everything ran smoothly, your hard work and support never went unnoticed.

to the stage crew, who turned simple sets into breathtaking landscapes, and to our sponsors, whose generosity made this production possible, thank you for your invaluable contributions. and to my loving family, who stood by my side through it all, your unwavering support kept me going when the journey felt overwhelming.

a special thank you to the @uga_asu e-board for entrusting me with the role of cultural secretary and director of africa night 2024. it has been an honor to serve alongside such dedicated individuals and to bring our community together through the celebration of african culture.

as this chapter comes to a close, i’m filled with bittersweet emotions. i’m grateful for the memories we’ve created and the friendships we’ve forged along the way.

so, to each and every one of you who played a part in making africa night 2024 a success, thank you from the bottom of my heart. your dedication, talent, and unwavering support have left an indelible mark on my heart, and i will cherish these memories forever. thank you. thank you. thank you.
