Some artists paint places. Others paint feelings.

While curating *The World Around Me*, we found ourselves drawn to AnglesMorts’ work for exactly that reason. Her paintings don’t simply depict oceans, skies, and distant horizons—they create emotional spaces filled with freedom, memory, stillness, and possibility.

A selected artist for the exhibition, Angles returns again and again to shades of blue inspired by the Côte d’Azur, transforming personal memories of sea, sky, and sunlight into watercolor landscapes that feel both intimate and universal.

In our conversation, she shares how water became the emotional center of her work, why the horizon continues to inspire her imagination, and how painting allows her to create spaces where viewers can pause, reflect, and dream.

Read the full interview and discover why one shade of blue can hold an entire world of memories.
