RELEASE DAY BOOK REVIEW!!📚 — ‘Vixens and Venoms’ by @authordldarby is a great addition as the third installment of the Serial Killer Book Club series.

If you enjoy reading about morally grey characters, with dark humor, a found sisterhood/friendship, fun banter, obsession, revenge and unaliving all thrown in the mix, you will love this book!! 5⭐️ 4🌶️

*I do not recommend reading this one until you’ve read books 1 and 2 of the series. Not only are you first introduced to Vixey Schaeffer and Todd Langston, but the first 2 books are also incredible and, in my opinion, should be read in order – seriously check them out!!* 🤩

Vixey is a fun, caring, chaotic young woman hiding secrets from her past, that has finally found her way into the friend circle of Dove, Wrenley, Bunny and Hunter. I loved her character growth over the 3 books from the clumsy, shy persona into a confident young woman seeking her revenge on those who wronged her in the past (revealing why she appeared so timid when we first meet her).

Todd is a real estate businessman with mafia ties, and his own secrets, who instantly becomes obsessed with finding out who Vixey is after their hilarious first meeting. He is dark and serious compared to Vixey’s bubbling personality but shows a softer side only to her, and even loosens up a bit as he also starts to become a part of the friend circle.

Their chemistry, banter, connection and relationship is fun to see develop, and the heat between them definitely becomes insanely spicy!! Absolutely enjoyed the balance between the darker serious themes with the humor and relationship building. Yet another great read from D.L Darby tying in all the characters throughout each book.
