Angela & Sasha | Chapter 1 For the last 3 months I’ve been trying to figure out where to even begin sharing all of the incredible moments we photographed in 2025, because it’s clinically insane the amount of people & places & parties I want to show you. How can I pick just a few moments from each day when there are, at minimum, a thousand to choose from from every single one? I decided I can’t, and I don’t want to. So. Remember that whole posting like it’s 2016 thing? Yeah, well, in 2016 I just…posted everything. Lol. So this is me embracing my inner 2016 and not caring about a stupid algo or being annoying or a grid aesthetic or whatever else stupid reason I’ve been telling myself that has given me such insane (and uncharacteristic??!!!) posting paralysis the last year. And also doing it this way is SO MUCH EASIER because I don’t have to agonize over which one to pick because I CAN PICK AS MANY AS I WANT!!! Anyway. This may flop. You may hate it. I may hate it. But ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ I need some joy right now and this is an easy, fun way to give it to myself, so we’re gonna see what happens. Anyway. To Ang & Sash!!! I showed up at 10am to Angela’s parents house with no clue what to expect because Ang wanted everyone to be surprised all day long. So when I walked in and saw her in full glam (and I do mean GLAAAAAM like holy cow literal supermodel took my breath away), I actually screamed (and I think scared her cousin, sooorrrryyyy). Then it was 2 hours of dancing, and drinking, and laughing, and hugging, and everything that is fun and fabulous with all of Ang’s side gathered in the yard to kick off the day. And WHAT a kickoff for WHAT a day.

Angela & Sasha | Chapter 2 I knew we were in for some fun when Ang said “HEY come here and take a picture of me looking for Sash through our rings!” Liiiiike, say less??!? We’ve been part of so many different types of weddings over the last 12 years, but never Macedonian & Serbian, so even though I tried my hardest to research (and Ang tried her hardest to explain without giving everything away hahah), I never really knew for sure what was coming next and it was SO MUCH FUN. I look out the window to see *several* trolleys full of Sash’s side rolling through the neighborhood…and then THE FLAGS! AND THE SINGING! AND DANCING! And making sure her shoes fit ;) IYKYK. My team & the video team team just kept looking at each other with the biggest, cheesiest smiles on our faces and saying over and over “THIS IS SO COOL OH MY GOSH WHAT’S NEXT WHAT’S NEXT??!!!” There aren’t enough characters in this caption limit to properly tell you about all of the things that happened during the joint party at Ang’s before we headed to the church, but I will tell you this — it was truly one of the most special moments I’ve ever witnessed, and I hope I get to do it a million more times. The joy, & the family, & the community, & the PRIDE that radiated from every single person there had me in tears multiple times. THIS. This is what love looks like.

Angela & Sasha | Chapter 3 You know how at most weddings, the couple asks me to gently shoo shoo everyone away so they can have their first look in private if they choose to do one? Not today!!!!! Everyone, including Sash, got to see our girl at the same time and we were off to the freaking races. I’m pretty sure every single person hugged every other single person, and the musicians were keeping the vibes SO high, and I was crying, again, obviously. The whole dang crew loaded up onto the trolleys and we made our way over to Saint Sava with flags waving out the windows & cars honking the whole way. CAN EVERY WEDDING START LIKE THIS PLEASE?!?!

Angela & Sasha | Chapter 4 I don’t really have much to say about their wedding ceremony, because I think these photos do most of the talking for me, but I do gotta say this - long live MY royal couple!!!

Angela & Sasha | Chapter 6 We went back inside to do family formals (with the MOST attentive & cooperative group — y’all were the MVPS), and then sent the family on their way while we did some portraits of the two of them. As soon as everyone but the media team walked out of the sanctuary, the most delicious, divine light appeared through the upper left windows. For the first time all day, we got to let these two breathe, slow down, and just be together. And…be models. Because. What the heck. Literally the dreamiest light ever. I still get chills thinking about it.

Angela & Sasha | Chapter 7 “Wait did I tell you I got parasols for all the girlies? I thought they’d be so fun and helpful in case the sun was super bright.” OH. Yep. That’s all I have to say. Enjoy!!!
