im often asked what got me into running, and honestly, it wasn’t some huge eye opening moment or some deep reason.
it was literally as simple as coming home from a festival and wanting to move to music in a different way.
i’ll never forget @ewanmcvicar_

im all for the runs where you take in your surroundings and leave the headphones at home. but honestly, what got me into running in the first place was music. whether it’s a chill run and im in my feels listening to @noahkahanmusic , pretending im with mum listening to @taylorswift , having a sing along to old-school 2000s, or hyping myself up listening to one of @angushayess sets. they all fit a different mood and vibe for the type of run i wanna go on.

music helps me get in the zone. but makes me forget about the pain when a run gets hard. it motivates me, gives me that extra pep in my step and, more than anything, just makes it so much more fun. it makes me want to move more, push harder and enjoy what im doing at the same time.

forever grateful for the artists and DJs who make music that lets me experience running this way. I genuinely don’t think running would be the same for me without it 🫶🏼
