May 12, 2024: Spending the last few hours of the last day on #oahu at #waikikibeach. It was another warm, sunny day. Had to park in a parking garage that was probably 7 floors up, and the parking spaces are small. Don't know why people own large trucks and SUVs on the island.

Some random photos from May 11 and 12. I like the second photo of me closing my eyes, while Bảo is actually asleep...didn't want to use that as the thumbnail since the last one also was me holding carrying him. Also got the only "Greetings From" mural that wasn't of the state.

Multiple stops, including getting lunch. #kualoaregionalpark (1-3), #tanakakahukushrimp (5-7). The tour also stopped again at the #northshoremacadamianutcompany

I'd recommend a tour for people that have don't want to drive or can't drive, and likes waking up really early.

May 11, 2024: It was a little rainy when we got here. I've seen many photos of this place (before going). Seeing it in person, have, it's kind of unwhelming, just a walk through place and ringing a bell. Half an hour spent here is enough time.

May 11, 2024: First stop on our bus tour. Everyone stayed near the parking lot and it was kind of disappointing. No official path to get down to the beach and it seemed unsafe to really try. For me it's a little weird not to drive, this might be the last driven tour I go on, at least in the US.

May 10, 2024: #kokocraterbotanicalgarden (1-4), These photos were taken after Makapu'u Lookout #makapuulookout (5-10), but I wanted the red flowers to show up in the thumbnail for its coloring.

May 10, 2024: Took me a few driving misturns to figure out how to park and eventually walk to #kokocrater #kokocraterstairs ; There were more people than I thought, they all were exercising and only we took photos.

May 10, 2024. We stayed at The Grand Islander Waikiki. We walked around the Hilton Hawaiian Village, I didn't realize how many hotels are in/near Honolulu. Posting this today (Dec 2), makes me miss those sweaty, warm, blindingly, sunny days.

May 9, 2024: Arrived with a couple of hours before it closed, so there weren't many people. Also remember being exhausted from waking up early, hanging out at Secret Island and the heat. We walked a little bit, sat on a tour of the Latter Day Saints, took the canoe from the far end back towards the entrance.
