Georgia has always been a part of the Western world. Unfortunately, a culture of corruption persists here, and a majority of people are seeking a monarch who promises charity. A minority of people have always known that the future will only be bright when our freedom is secured and when people are free from corruption. Without freedom, there is no justice; without justice, there is no hope; without hope, there is a frustrated society focused solely on survival. Survival is not what we need in 2024. We need educated, developed people around us who have hope for peaceful aging and the guarantee of independence. All of the above can be ensured through strong bonds with Western alliances. Russia targeted Georgia as its first after the collapse of the USSR. We have lost many people in several wars and are currently facing occupation just an hour from the capital and in Abkhazia. Our only enemy is Russia. Our government has decided to introduce a new law that, they claim, resembles the American FARA law, but is actually more akin to Russian law in that it regulates organizations without providing detailed information, potentially allowing its broad application against anyone, similar to practices in Russia.
