Five Years of Gunia Nowik Gallery!

Exactly five years ago, on July 3, we opened the doors of Gunia Nowik Gallery. Since then, our community has continued to grow—welcoming new artists, presenting exhibitions and performances, participating in international art fairs, and, two years ago, beginning a new chapter in our current space. None of this would have been possible without the trust, generosity, and support of our artists, collaborators, collectors, and audience. Thank you for being part of these first five years. We look forward to everything that lies ahead! 🎊

Thank you for joining us at this year’s edition of Warsaw Gallery Weekend! It was a blast! 💥

Gunia Nowik Gallery
Sep 19 – Nov 8, 2025

In Agata Bogacka’s paintings, formal, psychological, and political questions are inseparable. Relationships between elements, exchanges between backgrounds, colors running into each other, and translucent canvases—all these aspects are abstract in themselves, thus referring to nothing, yet interrelating in parallel with the everyday world. The transparency, the color gradients, the current indefiniteness of the spaces in her paintings are a direct response to renewed instability and uncertainty in the political situation.

Thank you for celebrating with us!

On Saturday, July 5, we marked the fourth anniversary of Gunia Nowik Gallery with a special evening that brought together our community to celebrate the opening of two exhibitions: 𝙏𝙝𝙚 𝘾𝙝𝙞𝙡𝙙𝙧𝙚𝙣 𝙤𝙛 𝙎ł𝙖𝙬𝙤𝙨𝙯𝙮𝙣𝙤 by Teresa Gierzyńska and 𝘾𝙝𝙞𝙡𝙙𝙧𝙚𝙣 𝙖𝙧𝙚 𝙩𝙞𝙢𝙚 𝙢𝙖𝙩𝙪𝙧𝙞𝙣𝙜 𝙞𝙣 𝙖 𝙛𝙧𝙚𝙨𝙝 𝙗𝙤𝙙𝙮 by Anna Orłowska.

We extend our sincere thanks to all who joined us for this occasion — our artists, guests, and collaborators. We are deeply grateful for your continued presence, trust, and support.

This year’s birthday cake was designed by Hannah Sophie Dunkelberg and prepared by Olczak i Syn patisserie.

The exhibitions by Teresa Gierzyńska and Anna Orłowska remain on view until September 6, 2025. We invite you to visit and spend time with these powerful and intimate photographic series throughout the summer — works that reflect on the passage of time and the fragile, shifting nature of memory.

Thank you for being part of this moment. We look forward to what lies ahead!
