Back in August, we got to be part of Liz + James’s wedding day at Oswego Hills Vineyard 🥂

First time serving at this venue and — wow. The rolling hills, the golden light, the views for days. If you haven’t been, put it on your list.

But honestly? The venue wasn’t even the best part. Liz and James might be the most fun, most genuinely in love couple we’ve had the pleasure of serving. Their friends and family brought that same energy all day.

We handed out Sloshy Pops pre-ceremony and through cocktail hour — the perfect way to welcome guests and cool everyone off on a hot August day before the “I do’s.” Nothing like a cold treat in hand to kick off a celebration right.

Grateful doesn’t even cover it. Congrats Liz & James 🍾🍭

A behind-the-scenes look at Mackenzie & Payton’s wedding day, featuring a very important member of the wedding party: Cash, their ridiculously adorable dog. 🐾🤍

The day started with getting ready and a first look at Oswego Lake Country Club before heading to Resurrection Catholic Parish in Tualatin for their ceremony. Then it was back to the country club for a big celebration and their first dance to “Joy of My Life” by Chris Stapleton.

Now the cameras are packed away, the footage is backed up, and their wedding film is officially starting to come together. 🎥 These are just a few quick glimpses from the day and from the early stages of editing, with plenty more still to come.

Mackenzie & Payton, I can’t wait to share your full wedding film!

Oswego Hills sits in the hills above West Linn with vineyard rows and views that stretch out toward the surrounding valley. Ten minutes from downtown Portland and feels nothing like it.

Portland Event Films handled DJ/MC for Emma and Tanner’s day on the Premium Wedding DJ Package. July weddings at a vineyard with a full dance floor — that is the job at its best.

Save this if Oswego Hills is on your venue list. Or send it to your partner and let them weigh in.

A lavender-lined aisle, a garden arch, and a promise forever. ✨

Summer in Newberg is pure magic, especially when love blooms among the lavender. 💜

Sarah + Carsen Vancil
Cape Horn Estate sits right along the Columbia River Gorge, and honestly, it set the perfect stage for this one. The views alone had guests in awe before the night even started, but once the dance floor opened up, that energy was something else. So much love in that room from start to finish.

Wishing you two the absolute best.
