Trusted residents @anil_c and @manamii.b will be joining @vnee_____ tomorrow at the @thejamjar_bristol.

Fresh off the back of a debut live set in London, Manami will be opening proceedings, dipping back into her deep 4/4 bag. @anil_c will be taking us over the finish line, having been busy bopping recently between London and Bristol, for @theloveinnbristol birthday celebrations and an appearance at @thecarpetshop.peckham alongside @laurellah and Alexander Nut. Tickets in bio 💛

We embark onto the next chapter on the 14th March with VNEE and Better Days residents Manami and Anil at The Jam Jar.

Depicted by the Cycles of Samsara, beautifully illustrated by @lotsofbroth, we reignite our values into the very core of how we operate Better Days into our next stretch of parties. To actively work with people from marginalised backgrounds both behind the decks and behind the scenes, and to celebrate and champion those voices. Whether it’s class, ethnicity and gender, we seek to break down the barriers that exist in the operation of our scene and be the change that we want to see.

Anil first discovered Harv, stage name VNEE (@vnee_____), through Instagram. Astonished with joy to see a sister of Punjabi heritage originally from Glasgow play Groovy and tasteful House and Techno, they both connected through coming from a background where the arts was not an option and having to go to Uni and choose a “safe” degree (and being the first generation!). She’s caught the ears of many prolific DJ’s and discerning dancefloors around the UK on her music journey, with her ascent only just beginning. It seemed only correct to invite her to initiate our next cycle for her Bristol debut.

Tickets available via Headfirst [link in bio] £7.50 / £10

We don’t want financial barriers to stop anyone from coming to our parties. If you are unemployed, on low income, from a low socio-economic background or are a refugee or other, please don’t hesitate to DM us.

Up first so excited to be having @anil_c joining us this Saturday! Read on for a taste of what to expect and a link to a recent mix to get you warmed up 🪭

** Anil is one of Bristol’s best-kept secrets. An unsung hero who’s spent years working behind the scenes on some of the city’s biggest parties, he’s a selector whose understanding of the dancefloor extends beyond the booth.

His genre-defying DJing style sees him thread together a groovy sound loosely fitted around infectious house, groovy techno and prog trance euphoria with the bass-bin rattling sounds of his resident city and beyond. This versatile approach and contagious aura has landed him spots at Glastonbury, Waterworks and Love International Festival to name but a few, sharing the booth with the likes of NIKS, Batu, Michelle Manneti and more.

Alongside Manami, he also runs Better Days, one of Bristol’s most hotly tipped dances, and has brought the likes of Call Super, Peach, Darwin, Amaliah, Tai Lokun and a host of others to the South West.

Advance tickets available in link in bio 🎟️

On the 14th of September, we host the official @waterworksldn afterparty.

Ross From Friends returns to Farringdon for the first time since his ‘Invites’ night back in February presenting his new alias ‘Bubble Love’. Joining him in Room 1 are UKG aficionado Interplanetary Criminal, London-based duo BLUMITSU (Bluetoof & Jossy Mitsu), rising star Beatrice M., and Emergency Room head-honcho Zaltsman.

Over in Room 2, Francesco Del Garda returns alongside Dave Harvey & Marcelina, as well as Dr Banana B2B Melody, who are back after their recent All Night Long sets in Room 2.
