Hi my friends! I wanted to make a post to officially let you all know that I will be leaving mangagram for awhile, maybe indefinitely. After a lot of back and forth about this, I’ve decided that it’s just not in alignment with my desires and goals anymore.

Will I still be watching anime and reading manga? ALWAYS. YES. But, over the last year or so, as much as this place has been a safe haven for me, it has caused me a lot of grief as well.

Between the pressure of posting content, finding friends just to lose them, the bullying, the gatekeeping, blah blah blah, I’ve realized it’s just not the place it used to be. I think many people feel the same because those who used to post and be here more often, have also stepped away.

I am BEYOND thankful to you all for being my friend and sharing your joy with me. I’ve met so many beautiful people here and I really was able to use my creativity. But, as I said, the negatives just outweigh the positives that I used to find in this space. 💔❤️‍🩹

I might be back later but I want to take a long break. I’ll be deactivating this account. If you want to follow me on my personal or my spiritual one, go ahead. @the_cosmickitty for tarot, witchcraft and crystals. @b_a_dw_o_l_f for my personal which I hardly post on but sometimes I do!

Hello friends. You’re probably wondering why I’m showing a picture of my cluttered anime room and well…it’s because my life is currently messy.

I have been on hiatus since July because I’m dealing with some medical issues that affect my vision. I started seeing blue/black spots and have been experiencing total vision loss for several seconds throughout the day/night: These moments are completely random and it affects my every day life (cleaning, driving, reading, etc).

I don’t want to get into the specifics of all the tests and exams, but two doctors have told me they believe I’m experiencing something called Pseudo Tumor Cerebri aka “False Brain Tumor”. I’m currently waiting to see a neuro Ophthalmologist at the end of September. All I know right now is that there is pressure in my brain and my eyes have been affected.

Currently my headaches have gotten better but my vision is blurry with random blue spots and temporary vision loss periodically. Because of this I haven’t been reading or creating content; I didn’t want to produce photos/reels that didn’t match my aesthetic.

However I realize that I cannot continue to keep things to myself. There is so much more I wanna say but IG post length won’t allow it. The bottom line is that I miss being creative and I wanted to update y’all about my sudden hiatus. So from now on my content will not be strictly mangagram. I cannot read like I used to and need reading aids; I’m still adjusting tbh.

I would like to be more open and share my other interests like audiobooks, video games, collections, and other things. Tbh I’m not sure how my photos will start to look on my feed because I cannot edit like I used to but I hope you continue to enjoy my content. I also will occasionally keep y’all posted about my health journey because I feel it’s important to share this experience.

This manhwa is something else 😂 I love how the ML just can’t control his moods as you swipe on the photos to the clear cards which explains why he has twp different expression 😅 It also because of the magic spell which makes it funny to read 😅 Noel is really sweet and funny despite being cold to her. Their relationship does get better as the story goes 🥰

Demon Slayer Entertainment District Arc aired its last episode today. Will surely miss it and I enjoyed every episode but episode 10 was just amazing Ufotable always does an amazing job👌👌. I am so excited for Season 3 Swordsmith Village Arc time to see Muichiro and Mitsuri need more of them too 😩😩 Its been a while since I did a demon slayer post so I decided to do floating #shelfiesunday for this flashy and fine hashira 🔥 I love his hugeee acrylic stand probably my favorite of him in my collection 😂 thank you @japanproxy_anime_bl for helping me get his huge stand and birthday stands 😍

Shelfie Sunday featuring On or Off 💕
I still can’t believe the series ended 😭😭 On or Off vol 1 & 2 was my very first physical BL manhwa I have purchased and also my first mofun cafe event I purchased from. After that my BL manhwa collection grew. I love how the art style is unique and I always love a good office love story 🙈 Definitely in my top 10 bl manhwas. I am hoping we get side stories 😭😭😭 Just waiting for my Kang figure and this shrine is complete 🥰

Yoru to Asa no Uta // よるとあさの歌 - Stille Wasser versus harte Schale

Darum geht's:
Yoru ist ein beliebter Vokalist in einer kleinen Indie-Band. Als diese aufgelöst wurde, landete er als Bassist in der Band seines Idols Asaichi. Bei einer After-Show-Party, bei der sich die vier Jungs mit ein paar Mädels amüsieren wollten, vernaschte Asaichi ausversehen den stillen Yoru, als das Hotelzimmer stockdunkel war! Für Asaichi, der ausschließlich auf Frauen steht, brach die Welt zusammen. Völlig perplex und voller Scham lässt der aufbrausende Asaichi nun ordentlich Frust ab und gerät dabei auch noch in eine bedrohliche Situation ...

Außergewöhnliches Storytelling und atemberaubender Artstyle. Diese Kombination war bei "Yoru to Asa no Uta" für mich perfekt und hat mich richtig gecatcht!
Harada versteht es ausgezeichnet verschiedene Genre wie Drama, Lovestory und Komödie miteinander zu verknüpfen ohne dass es irgendwie komisch erscheint oder zusammengestückelt wirkt. Obwohl der Manga auch ernste und bedrückende Szenen beinhaltet, hatte ich nie das Gefühl durchweg etwas Depressives zu lesen. Die Balance hat immer gepasst, was dazu führt, dass man richtig tief in die Geschichte eintauchen kann. Zu den Charakteren, die sich nach und nach weiterentwickeln baut man wie von selbst eine Bindung auf und lernt sie zu lieben, obwohl jeder seine ganz spezielle Eigenart hat. So erkennt man beispielsweise, dass auch der harsche Asaichi einen fürsorglichen weichen Kern hat und der stille Yoru sich eigentlich gern völlig ungeniert verhält.

Die Zeichnungen haben mir den Atem geraubt!
Besonders die Charaktere sind in meinen Augen wunderschön und detailliert dargestellt. Die Szenen wirken schon ohne Text emotional und regelrecht lebendig. Einfach powerful, sodass mir manche Szenen immer noch im Kopf nachhallen.
Bei diesem Manga bin ich in vielerlei Hinsicht voll auf meine Kosten gekommen. 💔🔥❤️🔥🤲🏻😌

Sasaki and Miyano first episode was released a few days ago and it was so cute 😆 I love the story in the manga so far even though the story and their relationship is slow pace but a very wholesome one 💕 It just makes me look forward to more chapters 🙈
