Look closely at @juliagarnerofficial’s tights in our latest issue and you’ll spot the interlinked double F @fendi logo. The “Karligraphy” monogram, so named for Karl Lagerfeld who designed for the Italian house for 54 years, is but one of the ways Fendi’s current creative director @mrkimjones honored his predecessor with his women’s ready-to-wear debut. Today, Jones kicked off Milan Fashion Week presenting Fendi’s spring 2022 collection where the archival monogram appeared on disco-tinged dresses and accessories. - @juliagarnerofficial by @renellaice Styling: @saramoonves    Sittings Editor: @aaalliata  Hair: @estherlangham  Makeup: @sallybranka  Manicure: @naominailsnyc  Set Design: @wetdisgrace  Production: @onethirtyeightproductions @animastudios W VOLUME FOUR 2021, THE POP ISSUE

@juliagarnerofficial has developed an almost preternatural ability to communicate a complicated inner world while barely opening her mouth on-screen. Her skill is most apparent in 2019’s ‘The Assistant,’ a whip smart meditation on the Me Too era. “Julia is able to telegraph her thoughts and feelings in a way that’s very unique,” says @kittygreen, who wrote and directed the film. “An audience can understand what she’s going through without her saying a thing.” Link in bio for the full story. - @juliagarnerofficial by @renellaice Styling: @saramoonves Sittings Editor: @aaalliata Story: @jennycomita Hair: @estherlangham Makeup: @sallybranka Manicure: @naominailsnyc Set Design: @wetdisgrace Production: @onethirtyeightproductions @animastudios W VOLUME FOUR 2021, THE POP ISSUE

On multiple levels, @juliagarnerofficial has grown up on @ozark. The show, which was the most watched original streaming series of 2020 according to Nielsen, is set to wrap production on its fourth and final season in October. “I started coming to Atlanta to film in 2017, and it was the first place where I actually lived on my own,” she says. “The fact that ‘Ozark’ is ending hits me in waves. I met some of my best friends here. It’s almost been like my weird version of a college experience.” Link in bio to see the full story. - @juliagarnerofficial by @renellaice Styling: @saramoonves Sittings Editor: @aaalliata Story: @jennycomita Hair: @estherlangham Makeup: @sallybranka Manicure: @naominailsnyc Set Design: @wetdisgrace Production: @onethirtyeightproductions @animastudios W VOLUME FOUR 2021, THE POP ISSUE

“We’re both young women, and I know that sounds like a really general, basic thing to have in common, but it’s not,” @juliagarnerofficial says of playing real-life scammer Anna Sorokin in ‘Inventing Anna.’ “In your 20s, you’re finding yourself, your identity, and your purpose in life. Anna was going about it the wrong way, obviously, but that search is something I recognize.” Link in bio for the full story. - @juliagarnerofficial by @renellaice Styling: @saramoonves Sittings Editor: @aaalliata Story: @jennycomita Hair: @estherlangham Makeup: @sallybranka Manicure: @naominailsnyc Set Design: @wetdisgrace Production: @onethirtyeightproductions @animastudios W VOLUME FOUR 2021, THE POP ISSUE

@juliagarnerofficial describes the extensive preparation she puts into each role as “kind of a hocus-y pocus-y process,” a mash-up of method acting and spirit channeling. “I kind of just relax my body and try to take myself out of it and put the character inside,” she says. “And then I ask questions and let the character answer them. ‘What was your biggest fear as a child? What was your greatest trauma?’ She becomes a person to me, someone I know inside and out.” Link in bio for the full story. - @juliagarnerofficial by @renellaice Styling: @saramoonves Sittings Editor: @aaalliata Story: @jennycomita Hair: @estherlangham Makeup: @sallybranka Manicure: @naominailsnyc Set Design: @wetdisgrace Production: @onethirtyeightproductions @animastudios W VOLUME FOUR 2021, THE POP ISSUE

Not unlike Anna Sorokin, the calculating scammer whom @juliagarnerofficial plays in the upcoming series ‘Inventing Anna,’ Garner’s self-discovery has involved slipping on a series of identities. The 27-year-old actress, who grew up in the Riverdale section of the Bronx, enrolled in acting classes as a teen, mostly because her older sister was doing it. What she quickly discovered was that acting freed her from her crippling shyness. “I had really bad reading problems and learning disabilities,” Garner says. “I felt like everything that I said was stupid, so I just shut down. But when I took acting, I discovered that I could use someone else’s lines and still express my own feelings.” Link in bio for the full story. - @juliagarnerofficial by @renellaice Styling: @saramoonves Sittings Editor: @aaalliata Story: @jennycomita Hair: @estherlangham Makeup: @sallybranka Manicure: @naominailsnyc Set Design: @wetdisgrace Production: @onethirtyeightproductions @animastudios W VOLUME FOUR 2021, THE POP ISSUE

Presenting the final cover star of our Pop Issue, @juliagarnerofficial! Best known for her double-Emmy-winning role as the fearless hillbilly Ruth on ‘Ozark,’ the 27-year-old actress now tackles real-life scandal as Anna Sorokin (aka Anna Delvey) the faux socialite scammer at the center of Shonda Rhimes’s upcoming Netflix series ‘Inventing Anna.’ “When you meet Anna, you realize she’s actually kind of a genius,” Garner says, “And she’s incredibly charming and really hilarious—a very dangerous combination.” Link in bio to see the full story. - @juliagarnerofficial by @renellaice Styling: @saramoonves Sittings Editor: @aaalliata Story: @jennycomita Hair: @estherlangham Makeup: @sallybranka Manicure: @naominailsnyc Set Design: @wetdisgrace Production: @onethirtyeightproductions @animastudios W VOLUME FOUR 2021, THE POP ISSUE
