*Introducing the Artists*

Animated Matter (@animated_matter) are the duo of multisensory artist David Yann Robert and vocalist/composer Hannah Elizabeth Cox. Based on the NE coast of the US, their debut album Selkie was recorded over multiple years of late night sessions shifting between states of waking and dreaming. Sharing a belief in animism: that sentience exists not only in humans but throughout all forms of matter: plants, rocks and oceans, their debut interprets the Celtic myth of the Selkie: a tragedy of impossible land/sea romance between a man and a shapeshifting seal/woman.

Join us on the Journey on April 26. 🎟️ Tickets available on RA. Link in bio 🔗

Nine years ago, my friends and I got together in a cabin in New Hampshire for my bachelor party for several days.

We called it Dudes in the Woods. It was lovely.

This year, a friend proposed a reunion in the exact same place.

Going into it they said “dude we can tell you’re stressing about finding time to assemble those Bitties, why don’t you bring them and we’ll crank them out.” It was so touching I could cry.
