We love a preview here at Manchester Animation Festival. And this year we’re heading into the future with a special preview exclusive to MAF passholders only!

Before it hits @Netflix this December we’re screening the long-awaited retro-futuristic noir feature #RayGunn from legendary director Brad Bird (The Incredibles, Ratatouille, The Iron Giant).

Blending classic detective vibes with soaring sci-fi spectacle and sharp wit, this animated epic is a must-see for film lovers and sci-fi fans alike.

Featuring a fantastic voice cast that includes Sam Rockwell, Scarlett Johansson and Tom Waits, you’ll want to strap in for quite the ride.

Catch it at #MAF2026 before anyone else!

Head to the link in our bio to pick up your pass and reserve your spot.

Last weekend for @weinventedtheweekend 🧚✨🌳

For two months I worked with a group of animation students from @animationuos and with @the.synthesist to create an ambiant space within the University of Salford. This was a bit different from what I am used to doing as it was more family/children oriented but I learned a lot and the experience all together was super formative.

Here is a (very) quick overview of the creative process from brainstorming meetings and creating a moodboard, sourcing material and creating original song and animations for the install, to all the making an building sessions.

Thanks @tashlevans @quayscultureuk for having me and to the University of Salford technical team for their support, working with yous was the absolute highlight of it all 💕💕💕
