I NEED A HERO🦸‍♀️and so do YOU‼️ The juiciest, most succulent queer dance party would like to introduce ANITA HIRO✨ “With my name, I have a built-in theme song, so of course I love performing to Holding Out for a Hero (the Shrek 2 version, obviously)” 🤭 Anita loves hearing their name sung back to them. SO SCREAM THEIR NAME!💥 She embodies power and confidence and wants the crowd to feel the same thing💪🏻 Inspired by TV and Film, 📺 Anita’s last new performance was a number based on the recent horror film, 🩸Obsession🩸, to the song Hate That I Made You Love Me by Ariana Grande. Let’s just say it was a bloody good time 🔪😉 Anita LOVES the world of entertainment, and consumes it daily. She always finds a way to incorporate a snippet here and there in her performances ✨ Anita is GOBSMACKED to be coming up on 3 YEARS of drag this November!!🥳🎉🎂 “Drag has reinvigorated my love for performance, so hopefully you’ll see me perform many more times in the future in one way or another 😘 I will forever be grateful to the city of Baltimore and its amazing drag artists for accepting and embracing me and giving me the freedom to express my art” 🎭 Cherry Pop! Hosted by Max Mayhem & Thom Boy🌸✨ ‼️Saturday, September 12th 📍Club Nest at The Eagle ⏰10PM 🔞21+ 💸$10 ‼️PLEASE NOTE THIS VENUE IS ONLY ACCESSIBLE VIA STAIRS ‼️ See you there!💋

Next week, The Club Car welcomes King Molasses to our stage for the very first time. King Molasses is an award-winning Nigerian-American drag king, creative producer, and performing artist based in Washington, DC. Best known as the winner of the televised competition series **King of Drag**, they were also named to the 2025 Out100 list by Out Magazine, honoring the nation’s most impactful LGBTQ innovators, leaders, and creators. Debuting in 2018, King Molasses was inspired by drag king shows in DC’s historically gay neighborhoods. With a commanding stage presence and incredible bodily control, they use movement to create visual landscapes rooted in Black culture, evoking nostalgia, humor, and softer takes on masculinity. Their performances have earned international acclaim, pushing the art of lip sync into a transformational practice of Black surrealism, “radiating grief, tenderness and pride.” Their work has been commissioned by The John F. Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts** and the Smithsonian, and they are a repeat performer in Sasha Velour’s acclaimed NYC drag revue, NightGowns. King Molasses has also been featured on CNN, The Washington Post, Good Morning America, and NPR. Be there to witness King Molasses’ unforgettable debut on our stage.

The Club Car Baltimore welcomes MillOh! 🌞 to our March 14 event, KING AMONG QUEENS. MillOh! was born from Elmer and Alle’s honeymoon in Argentina and inspired by Baltimore’s vibrant food scene. Partnered with Chef Javier “Gochez,” they blend cultures to create unforgettable dishes. ✨ Fun fact: It all started with Alle’s craving for a real Argentine alfajor! From baking at home and selling at the Reisterstown Farmers Market, they’ve grown into a food trailer serving authentic choripanes, smash burgers, and unique fusion delights like matcha lattes and horchata. MillOh! is dedicated to offering authentic culinary experiences and is proud to be part of the Baltimore community with Our Time Kitchen! 💛
