being an icon this week was not the plan but it was fun to be on the wild side of imsa for once

im so glad this show is over. i love most the people that i got to spend it with (why did some people just want to be the bad man this week ????) but omg everything felt so low. this was the first show we ran with new board and new cab and overall i think it went pretty well. we had a few hiccups but i guess that happens in high school (i swear if i hear even one whine about livestream). anyways i really enjoyed being in modern again but ppl were lowk hating a bit too much (like come on don't jealous me). i feel like i did pretty good.

tbh between modern, junior, and volleyball i was running around so much this week i think i moved more than the mars rover at it's peak. honestly this show could be wrapped up in just 2 words, reckless and sweet. like now im happy that it happened but omg it was such chaos. especially for one person in particular, cuz she was thrown into literally everything this week. like ayo girl you gotta take some you time once in a while.

anyways ive been addicted to angels in tibet by amaarae this week like akgjskjfkas it's so good

honestly, isa culture shows are just better. idk why but the vibes r awesome every time. one of my fav parts abt every modern is the family we build thru the practices and crazy moments tgt. ive met so many cool ppl thru moderns and this one isnt any different. these crazy mfs keep dancing so enjoyable for me and i lowk can't believe this one is over already. i can't wait to keep dancing tgt for the rest of the year and even choreo for them a little bit.

anyways enough w the sappy stuff. a lot of things went wrong for the show, but honestly i expect it at this point. the entire show literally hinged upon a nintendo switch adapter (ty will) and thank god eve showed up on friday and fixed our issues for saturday. that doesn't mean saturday went smoothly but i like to think we gave the best show we could've. anyways isa was so lenient all week and i cant thank them enough.
