People say, 20s are the defining decade of your life. This may not be entirely true. But I can confirm that it is in my late 20s (I’m almost 30 now) that I have constantly thought about what kind of person I’m, what kind of life I’d like to lead, what would I like to be known for.
I may not have found all the answers but I’m getting a sense of it. In that sense, 20s are perhaps the defining decade, not because it defines who you become, but because it makes you think about who you want to become.

And sometimes, even without us realising it, some people become an answer. @bindu_kollenghat is one!

Bindu aunty is a total star✨❤️
She loves to talk. (Anyone who has met her can confirm this.)
She loves football and stays up late to watch her favourites play.
She loves sleeping in and waking up whenever she likes.
She loves going out, be it to the movies or for shopping. She loves to stay in too.
She has a lot of friends. But more importantly,
her daughter’s friends are also her friends.
She treats everyone as her equal (and uses her mother card with us, as and when necessary).
She knows exactly what she wants and is radically honest about it.
She loves others, but most importantly she loves herself.
Above all, she is full of joy.

I don’t know what kind of person I will be when I’m 50. But if I am half as cool as Bindu aunty, I’d consider it a win.
