Our Origin Festival - Cradle of Humankind.

The greatest treasure of this time was the seeding. The moments of connection with warrior elders, children, brothers and sisters who recognized the fire in each other’s eyes… moments that met like fertilization… intertwining, merging, curiously inviting, visioning, rooting, praying together, in love.

The ceremonies, held by some of Africa’s most revered spiritual leaders called a big magic that reverberated through the grid in our Origin land …

I feel it now still, spiraling outward … moving like a hurricane whose time has come … it whispers “The Mother has Awoken“

In Spirit, in the Earth and in our bodies… no matter what horrors the 3D trajectory appears to make inevitable … it cannot imagine what a force it will encounter when She lives and breathes and loves from our hearts again. She is our destiny.

Here’s to the great seeding. It has begun
Camagu 🕊️

@zachbushmd @ourorigin.earth and @project.biome From my heart and from the hearts of my ancestors… thank you for holding this womb for our Mother. May your work continue to be blessed - it is opening the way and Her children are deeply grateful. Looking forward to our road together.

To the Elders of Africa… Makhosi … you are the way. We are listening.

Silly me - I forgot to add the most important day to yesterday’s post of the trip report. So here is the one of the main highlights of the trip: bait balls on Day 5!

Day 5 – The action we were waiting for: lots of gannets and other birds flying, common dolphins swimming, and then suddenly - gannets dive-bombing. The ocean felt alive. We found a few small bait balls with many dolphins and sharks. What a day!

TRIP REPORT – if you want to know what it’s like on the sardine run, this is for you

Day 1 – On our way to the launch site, we had a flat tire. It was fixed in no time. In the first 5 minutes on the ocean, we found a bait ball. It disappeared within 2 minutes. We saw a heat run of whales - male whales follow a female, and it can get quite rough underwater. We saw the stunning coastline and swam through the iconic Hole in the Wall. It was as rough as it looked.

Day 2 – This day seemed calm at first. We saw a beautiful sunrise during our surf launch. Then we searched and waited for hours. In the end, we just jumped into the big blue, and after doing a bottle-cracking trick, we attracted a lot of sharks - duskies and oceanic blacktips. At the end of the day, we even found a manta!

Day 3 – Super clear visibility and a lot of time spent with bottlenose dolphins. They travel along the coast, and we positioned ourselves in their path to see them pass by. Sometimes they get curious and playful. We freedived a reef and saw lots of crayfish, an octopus, and a guitar shark or maybe a guitar ray? I was hoping to freedive with raggedtooth sharks, but we couldn’t find them.

Day 4 – People were tired; some stayed on land, some decided to have a calm day on the boat. We started with ceremonial cacao from the jungle, provided by @ankeinbrandt . The ocean was calm. At first, we looked for action, but when we couldn’t find any, we just floated by the Hole in the Wall and had beautiful chats. After some time, a mum whale and baby appeared. Then they disappeared for a while - we had lunch on the boat, and then the pair returned to the same location.

Day 5 – The action we were waiting for: lots of gannets and other birds flying, common dolphins swimming, and then suddenly - gannets dive-bombing. The ocean felt alive. We found a few small bait balls with many dolphins and sharks. What a day!

I challenged myself to finish the video about this week before everyone departs. I think the sleepless night was worth it - everyone had a memory to take home.

It has been an awesome week. Every day is different, you never know what you will encounter.

Big thanks to our incredible skipper @emilpirzenthal, our guide @wildcoastcalling, and @swellecolodge for hosting us in this unique place with amazing food.

Thank you also to our amazing guests @wildlife_nomad @consciously.connected.living @guy_forster @jaimecoue @ankeinbrandt

Now we start week 2 - who knows what we will see…
