We are Miss you so much 🥺🫂#

This is how we wrapped up our amazing Mehfil at Open Mic 3.0. ✨

We witnessed some of the most beautiful creations by our mesmerising poets @sonaljain_04 @likekartik @niketsays @yasha.shukla @voiceofyourshow @ankitsarma_ @mohneesh_singh

The beat to this evening was added by amazing guitarist and vocalist @raghavparashar__ who made us all jam together in unison forgetting what went yesterday and what is about to come tomorrow.

The evening went bussin’ when the coolest siblings in town @raaasmani and @zoltanbeatbox created magic with their absolutely stunning performance which combined singing and beat boxing.

And to add more glitter to the evening, we were in the ethereal company of @vayurus and @murli_manohar_musician , both well known personalities of Bollywood and have given amazing blockbusters as well as soothing pieces of art! It was a privilege to listen to them ❤️

It was an evening to remember, cherish and reminisce. We look forward to more of such evenings in the time to come! Till then keep your love for the art alive! ✨💯

Event 2 of the 3 Day Campaign: Bring Your Maa to Mela

On 12th May, Sarokar, in association with @anantmandi, organized a beautiful convening of children and mothers at Gandhi Bhawan. This emotionally driven dialogue on Mother’s Day celebrated mothers as persons with choices, self love and needs. The dialogue aimed at moving beyond the traditionally defined of motherhood which glorifies sacrifice and understand our mothers as individuals, emphasising on their physical and emotional needs.
Renowned gynaecologist Dr. Shraddha Agarwal also highlighted the immense challenges faced by mothers while nurturing their children which goes unaccounted and encouraged children to take care of their mother’s needs and choices.
