It’s hard to put into words what this chapter has meant to me. These halls held some of the best memories, biggest laughs, deepest friendships, and also some of the hardest moments I’ve ever walked through.

There were times this journey felt heavier than I knew how to carry, and days where simply making it through took more strength than most people realized. But through every setback, every fear, and every uncertain moment, the Lord remained faithful.

Looking back now, I can see God’s hand in every single part of my story. He sustained me, strengthened me, and carried me farther than I could’ve gone on my own.

As hard as it is to say goodbye to a place that has meant so much to me, I’m leaving with a heart full of gratitude for every moment and every person who made these years unforgettable.

So be strong and courageous! Do not be afraid and do not panic before them. For the Lord your God will personally go ahead of you. He will neither fail you nor abandon you.

Appreciation post for Council 1 because I really miss them. I love this group of people so dearly. Each and everyone of them were perfectly picked by the lord to live through basic with me, help me grow as a leader, and positively impact my life. Every day I wish I could relive the moments of laugher and crying with them and experience all over again the basic magic. I’m counting down the days I will see my best friends again at state November 1st and hug all of their necks again. Love each and every one of you guys from #council1🤍

i loved meeting each and every single one of you and im so glad we built such sweet friendships this week! we got to have the best advisor and JC ever and i'm so grateful i got to be apart of this amazing experience!! i never thought i could get so close with people in just a few days! you guys helped me grow into a stronger leader and i will cherish these memories forever!!

THANK YOU for all of the lessons you taught me! you helped me to push myself outside of my comfort zone and become more confident in the leader that i am. everyday was a new challenge that wasn't always easy, but helped open my eyes to what true leadership means and the reason behind it! @okoasc

Lucky me 🌈 This week will be held so close to my heart. Council 1, the impact you’ve made will never be forgotten. From the endless inside jokes to the tears and everything in between, I didn’t just gain new friends, I gained a family.

Kelsi, thank you for being an amazing JC. You set the bar high and made me fall in love with BASIC and the OASC. @okoasc

There’s nothing quite like the BASIC Magic!

To my Council One, you each showed me incredible leadership skills and I was so honored to be your JC. I cannot wait to watch all of your futures unfold.

To my fellow JCs + the officers, I don’t think I could’ve dreamed of better people to share this week with. I’m so blessed to have gained 13 lifelong friends!!!

Saying goodbye to @okoasc isn’t easy, but I’m forever thankful for everything I’ve gained from it. ❤️

I am so honored to have had the opportunity to attend this workshop. I met some of the best leaders and learned low to be a better one myself. Basic is one of the best things I could have ever done can’t believe that’s it was only a week. Basic magic is real and I can say that my council experienced it. Forever love you council 9🤟🏻💕
