I got invited to @theaddisonnyc because someone told me there would be burgers.🍔🍔🍔

I stayed because I may have just found the sexiest sports bar in New York.

For years, sports bars have felt like they were designed almost exclusively for guys & dark rooms, sticky tables, giant beers, and wings. The Addison flips that idea completely on its head.

Imagine if a classic New York pub, a chic cocktail lounge, and a glamorous downtown restaurant somehow had a baby. That’s The Addison.

It’s elegant without trying too hard. Sophisticated without feeling pretentious. You can watch the game with your friends, then turn around and feel like you’re at one of Manhattan’s most beautiful cocktail bars.

The food deserves its own spotlight. The burgers are exactly why I showed up, and they absolutely delivered. Crispy fries, perfectly executed comfort food, and cocktails that feel far more “date night” than “game day.”

And here’s what surprised me most: this might be one of the first sports bars where women actually want to hang out.

Order a dirty martini. Grab a Rosé Spritz. Wear the outfit you’ve been saving. You won’t feel out of place for a second.

The Addison doesn’t ask you to choose between watching the game and going somewhere beautiful.

It gives you both.

New York has needed a place like this for a long time.

Final Verdict: The Addison isn’t trying to reinvent the sports bar, it simply asks a better question: What if watching the game could actually feel sexy?

Welcome to the future of sports bars.
