We are headed back to Dubai!!! Ready to board the plane. This week we finished cleaning out mom and dad’s garage, the boys went shooting one more time with granddad, and recorded 4 podcasts. We have some special guests coming the next few weeks so listen in. Dinner with Amy and Cindy after choir practice at Mims. We went to solid rockers and had a great time where we sang and Barrett preached a bit. Celebrated KJ’s 13th with all the grandparents. Had some hibachi at Akahi. Barrett had one more sleepover with Levi and I had one last dinner with the BAND. Big dinner last night with all the cousins and siblings and mom and dad!! Love each of yall so much. ❤️

The last week is always bittersweet as we say goodbye to family and friends once again. Thank you for all the continued prayers and hugs. We love you and will see you in December. KRIS WE ARE HEADED HOME!!!!

I literally have the best friends, family and support system 🥰💕
If you know me you know i thrive being surrounded by people who love me and I love them! This morning started with my aunt Anna Uncle Mike Beth and the boys bringing Cindy and I breakfast and dutch bros! Then Aunt Cindy and I just chilled most of the mid morning to early afternoon then the Dare Bear came after he had gotten the house ready fo me to come home on Tuesday. Then my church parents Ed and Carolyn showed up, Ms H came and brought good shampoo/conditioner then My Ally showed up to do the hardest job(help me take a shower!(has been my biggest goal since yesterday! And then Kristen and Brad who brought such beautiful flowers and Natalie and Kirsten came and brought me goodies and the softest blanket and a cute cup and all kinds of my favorite things, then the very end of visitors were my Aunt Kristi Meghan and Maddie! With more flowers and crumbl cookies!!

My Kimbo is staying the night (i don’t do anything by myself) but also my dr doesn’t want me unsupervised for about 2 weeks!

Today I was surrounded by family and friends and that took my mind off the pain, I know this is an opportunity for growth and strength and faith but wowzers breaking your femur and having a hip replacement and the head of your femur replaced muscles put back and stitched to where they belong is not for the faint of heart.

I ask that if you have read this far that you will continue to lift me up in prayer and that they are able to control the pain, My dr and my family were so proud of how strong I have been and that I am determined to do the hardest things so i can be back to normal if not better sooner than later. Thank you all for loving me, for supporting my business when I can’t be in the shop I know its neen a crazy wild summer for me and im forever grateful for each person that sits im my chair and that is willing to wait for me.

If you don’t want to wait I do have someone i trust fully to fill in the gap!

Much love ❤️

The Mitchells are safe in Houston and Dubai…

We have been in Houston for two weeks with all four of us. It’s been great having intentional family time. We celebrated Mamaw at her memorial when we first arrived. Kris and I were able to celebrate our 23rd wedding anniversary with a wonderful dinner at the Via Emelia‘s. I’ve been able to spend time with THE BAND and even went to a Baby Shower. Barrett had kids camp and loved it. KJ had student camp and loved it. Barrett had sleepovers and play dates with friends. He also had a baseball camp at Space Cowboys with a Dubai friend. We had a great time at an Astros game and wonderful 4th of July with Family. KJ made a flag Cake. Yummy!!! Kris worked from his Houston office and at home. Worshiped at CFBC, so blessed and even got a Pedicure with DAD!!! Fun!! 🤩 We’ve stayed with Kris’ parents for two weeks and enjoyed our time with the Travis Crew. Kris is already back in Dubai and off to work again.

The boys and I have five more weeks in the US. We are off to Tennessee this week to visit my sister and her family and can’t wait for time together. Mom had a six day visit in the hospital for a wound and blockage in her left leg. She’s doing really well and thankful that I’m here to help. We’ve helped clean out Mamaw’s things for Mom and Dad and continue to help and assist family while we’re here. So thankful for this time and grateful for the intentionality and the love and the faithfulness and the togetherness. Continue to pray for our safety and protection as well Kris in Dubai. The conflict has ramped up again in the Middle East so extra prayers for Kris. He stills feels safe but would love for the conflict to end.

It’s been great to see many of you and hug your neck. We will be here til August 14. 🙏❤️🙌

Mamaw is in Jesus‘s arms. So thankful for a life well lived. My last grandparent to leave this earth and enter heaven. Mamaw was strong, faithful, independent, stubborn, sassy, beautiful, funny, athletic, and the best “TENALTO”. IYKYN

Thank you Mamaw for building our family on the Lord Jesus Christ. Thank you for raising my father to be a godly man. Thank you for always being consistent in our lives and at so many sporting events, concerts, and celebrations. Thank you for always giving to others before yourself. God is so good and we are blessed to know that we will see you again. Please say hello to Papaw, Aunt Gina, Parker, and so many more of our family. I am thankful for a Lord who reminds us that because of his sacrifice we will see you again. I love you always.

PS… Mamaw…I know you “loved” me bossing around but I’ll leave that up to Jesus now. Soon and Very Soon, We are all going to see the King. Sing loud Mamaw!!!
