Family sessions are always a combination of mixed feelings: Mom wants the photos done, some dads - not so much 😄 Kids — some care, some couldn’t care less.

But then the session starts, and so does the fun.

And somehow, we end up with so many beautiful moments captured along the way — smiles, hugs, laughter, Dad’s jokes, and Mom’s happy heart. ❤️

I had such a pleasure photographing this beautiful family — so much positive energy, gorgeous kids, and two amazing-looking parents who made the whole session feel effortless and fun.

And that’s what family photos are really about: creating memories you’ll be able to come back to, cherish, and relive for years to come.

Thank you again @sfwaldorf for hosting a fun day of holiday shopping for your community. I was here last year and how touching it was to see some familiar faces. It was especially heartwarming to hear people say “remember me?!?” 🫶🏼 And to all those friends who trekked from the creek all the way into the city! I am so humbled by you. This craft is not what I fathomed I’d be doing at all a couple years ago, but here I am and I am so grateful for this community that always shows up with love. Thank you to everyone I chatted with, everyone who gave me compliments, everyone who purchased again. I am humbled by you 🫶🏼
