september. 🤍

this month was good and hard all at once.

I lost someone from my skating family, and grief has a way of making you look at things you maybe would have rather left untouched.

the truth is, things weren’t how i wish they had been before she left. life happened. relationships got complicated. time passed. and then suddenly there wasn’t more time.

that has impacted me more than i expected. because at the end of the day, being right doesn’t matter nearly as much as we think it does. neither does pride, misunderstanding or distance. what matters is how we loved people, how we treated them and what we left in their hearts.

losing her also brought me back to my skating family, and in the middle of something so sad, i was reminded of just how blessed i was to grow up with these people.

we trained together, competed against each other, pushed each other, celebrated each other and learned really young how to lose, get back up and keep going. i didn’t realize then how much those years were preparing me for life. the discipline, resilience, loyalty and work ethic i learned there have carried me through so much.

and now, decades later, one of the most beautiful things is seeing who everyone became. when one of us wins, we genuinely want them to win. when someone is hurting, we show up.

in a world where putting yourself out there can feel like giving people an invitation to judge you, i’ve realized how rare it is to have people who genuinely clap when you win. people who don’t need your light to be dimmer for theirs to shine brighter.

those are the people i want to be. and those are the people i want around me.

september reminded me that life is too short to leave important things unsaid. love people well while you have them. make things right when you can. celebrate people loudly. and never take for granted the people God placed along the way.

some months give you memories. some months change you.

september did both. 🤍

It’s @anna.lee.grace’s birthday! 🎉 The woman who keeps it 100% real, makes us laugh constantly, and has zero interest in promoting something that isn’t genuinely her (integrity over everything!!). Add in being an amazing boy mom and building her own little farm (hi, donkeys 🫏) and honestly, is there anything she can’t do? Happy birthday Anna, we adore you 🥳💛

Every step was for someone who made the ultimate sacrifice. Proud of our ARC Gym crew for showing up, pushing through, and honoring the 343.

We climb because they can’t. Never forget. 🖤🇺🇸

🇺🇸 WE CLIMB TO REMEMBER.

This weekend, The ARC Gym came together for the 9/11 Memorial Stair Climb….not just to challenge ourselves physically, but to honor the heroes who ran toward danger when others were running away.

Every step represents a life.
Every floor represents a sacrifice.
Every climb is a reminder that we will NEVER FORGET. ❤️🤍💙

25 years later, we remember. We honor. We climb.
