🎞️🎞️🎞️ - best day ever!

Looking through photos these past few days & in AWE of the Creator!!! The Creator of marriage! What a gift to be in on! Seeing how the people around me & Ty showed up to make this the most magical day was just another reason for me to praise Him!

This day was MORE than perfect, but do not be misled! This summer & leading up to this day was very challenging for me. Instagram is a highlight reel blah blah blah YEAH. It’s true. I struggled BIG TIME with comparison, decision making, anxiety, & growing up. So many of the little things that I worried about throughout the wedding planning process caused me so much anxiety.

But now, looking back at me & Ty’s day, I’m just like WOW. I know the hands that made my flowers, the girl who did my hair, the friends who took the film photos, my mom who DIY’d EVERYTHING, & I did my own makeup! So many of the things that initially caused me anxiety ended up being some of the sweetest parts of the day. The Lord took every little thing that I worried about & used it for His glory. He took what I thought might go wrong & made it all work out so perfectly. And now, looking back, I wouldn’t change a thing.

I’ve never really struggled with comparison like this before, but this season was a learning one for me. I fell into the trap of wedding comparison & constantly questioning if I was doing things “right.” Especially in this stage of life, you open Instagram & see an engagement, then a wedding, a baby! & suddenly you are questioning everything ever! lol! BUT the Lord reminded me that His plan doesn’t have to look like what I see online. He is working in ALL things & for His glory. Looking back, I can see that sooooo much clearer! Everything worked out exactly as it was supposed to! Simple as that!
