IXS Downhill Cup Ilmenau
Masters Female 🏁 P2/5

Second seeding win in a row.
Then I gave the race run away by a few seconds.

The speed was there. I just didn’t manage to bring the same focus and flow into the race run. Nerves got the better of me, and I made a few mistakes that cost me the win.

No excuses. That’s racing.
I know what I need to work on.

Still, what a weekend in Ilmenau 🔥
Changing conditions, a great track, a strong Masters Women field and an awesome atmosphere. I had a blast riding, racing and being out there.

Congrats to all the girls! 👏
And a huge thank you @ilrc_ilmenauerradsportclub for putting on such a great weekend - and to everyone supporting my solo racing journey 🫶🏼

No team.
No mechanic.
No big race setup.

Just me, my bike and a stubborn love for racing.

Back to work.

Was für ein Wochenende…
iXS Downhillcup / Mudcup in Ilmenau.

Danke an unser „Raceteam“. Mit euch macht es immer wiedee Spaß zu fahren.
Und Danke an alle Mädels. Wenn ihr nicht so super wärt, würde ich vermutlich nicht mitfahren. ❤️ #ixsdownhillcup #downhillmtb #mtbgirls

✨Sometimes, it’s worth believing in things that feel out of reach✨

If someone had told me three years ago where Downhill racing would take me, I probably wouldn’t have believed them.

Every decision, every challenge, every setback became part of the journey - and that’s where the real growth happens. Looking back, one of the best decisions I ever made was simply to start… and to keep showing up. At first, with no real idea of what was waiting for me... Race after race.

And that’s exactly why I want to say this to every woman out there thinking about racing:
If I can do it, so can you 🙌🏼 You just have to believe in yourself enough to start 🚀

Balancing racing with everyday life, work, family, and our bodies is not always easy. That’s exactly why I have so much respect for every woman standing at that start line 🫶🏼
To me, every single one of you is incredibly strong, inspiring and a true superhero in your own way 🦸‍♀️🧚‍♀️💃

We need more women in Masters racing, women who love riding bikes, challenging themselves, supporting one another, and being part of the unique family-like atmosphere that racing creates ❤️‍🔥

So to all the Masters women out there:
come join us. Let’s race together, inspire each other, and prove that it’s never too late to start 🚀

And honestly, when I look back now, it still feels unreal that this journey led me to become the first overall winner of the Open Masters Women category @ixsdownhillcup - three years in a row.

Not because of the title itself, but because it all started with one simple decision:
✨to believe in myself enough to try✨

A huge thank you to everyone who has supported me along the way 🥰 through messages, likes, comments, reshares, or simply cheering me on

It truly means more than you know 💞

November dump 👊🏻

Cause of the sh*tty weather I am a lot indoors bouldering right now 😅 It’s a great addition to riding MTB (I still go for gravel rides or visit Bikeparks when possible). It’s most likely warm and dry and bright in my boulder gym so I prefer that over being cold and wet and dirty right now 🤷🏼‍♀️
