It was my absolute pleasure to sing with the amazing argonaut of a vocalist @morgandlmusic_ . She is as sweet as she is incredible and we decided early on we wanted this performance to be something we looked back on as a moment we loved to share more than a battle won. And man, from the first time we nailed down the arrangement to everytime we sang it to being on stage it feels like we did just that.

We had a week of the voice where it was just team Queen and that week really made the @nbcthevoice something very special to me. Our whole 12 person team was full of incredible vocalists and dope humans. We truly felt like our team was there for the hang just as much there to enjoy the ride of the show. That week will always have a special place in my heart as will this show and everyone involved in it. From production to contestants they truly do something special with this show and I couldn’t be more proud to be part of its history :)

A little reminder to me and future dreamers right before going on stage. Heart pounding and truth pouring. ❤️

I have many photos of my career with this look on my face. While it gives me a laugh and I always make jokes, I also know this means I was really experiencing a moment in singing. Unattached from anything but the moment. True meditation and I am so grateful for how many times, and how many more, I get to feel this.

I mean. What. Chatting with Patti Labelle was not something I ever dreamed of doing. @queenlatifah was so generous for sharing this soul with us. We had a chat about life, music, and the love that’s in between it all. They both treated us like friends and family. Things I’ll never forget ❤️
