Alta and Randy, where do I begin. From the moment they reached out to me, it was without a question that I was going to capture their whole wedding story from beginning to end, starting with their engagement session in the same area where they bought their home. Randy and I go back to High School/College days so for me this felt special: taking these for someone who’s known me since before I started my first career, before I started taking photos. When I met Alta, I knew without a doubt that they were absolutely perfect for each other. It’s been such a pleasure witnessing their love, energy and compassion for one another. It was perfect timing how @frames_nyc and I started our own company together this past December @artistryweddingco and even though they initially just asked for photography, I told them that we HAD to get Ramon to do their videography. During this weekend, with just the two of us, we captured the welcome day drinks, full wedding day and the day after/pool party and it’s safe to say that it’s some of the best work we’ve ever produced while also incorporating audio, film and drone. None of this could’ve been possible without the love and energy that we received from everyone in attendance. Not only seeing the boys that I haven’t seen in about 15 years but meeting some amazing people that made it such a joy to be around. For us, it wasn’t just about capturing every moment but becoming fully immersed with everyone and the complete vibe of the weekend. Thank you to everyone that made us feel like family! We chose Ojalá Que Lleva Cafe as the song for the post since Alta’s father dedicated this song to Alta and Randy during the ceremony.
