What an absolutely amazing night Friday night was - the launch of World Forever at the Melbourne Town Hall! So many people came along, thank you to everyone who did, you made it a very special night. I’m really grateful to everyone who was involved in making the whole recording project and concert happen. I have so many people to thank, it’s a long list!

For the recording of World Forever, thank you to Myles Mumford who engineered the recording of the string orchestra at the Russian Hall in Fitzroy and the Town Hall pipe organ, totally masterful work. Thank you to Idge at Soundpark for recording Mark and Andy’s drums and bass and for reamping my guitars. Thank you to Andy Stewart for helping me with the mix and to David Walker for the mastering. Thank you to Luke Fraser for the glorious album design and for the design work on the whole project. Thank you so much to Haley Rose for helping me with so many things, but most importantly, for her incredible video clip for the song ‘The Warning’ - everyone should watch this, it’s on YouTube!

For the concert on Friday night - thank you to Myles Mumford and the sound and lighting team. Thank you to the production crew at the Town Hall and to Amber and Sophie for looking after the merch. Thank you to The Orbweavers for playing a wonderful set. Thank you to all the incredibly talented musicians who played on the recording and at Friday’s concert. Thank you to the entire string orchestra, lead by Andrea Keeble, which sounded incredible. Thank you to Sarah Curro for her brilliant conducting, hard to believe that this was Sarah’s conducting debut! Thank you to Ria Angelika Polo, our organist. And, to my longtime musical compadres, maestros in their own right - thank you to Mark Dawson on drums and Andy Papadopoulos on bass.

And, finally, thank you so much to Miles Brown, the svengali who made the entire recording and live concert project become a reality.
Bravissimo!
Until next time…!!💙💙💙

The wonderful Orbweavers are on at 8pm and the World Forever Orchestra is on at 9pm. We have a huge lineup on stage ~ a 24 piece string orchestra, a rock rhythm section, myself on guitar and, of course, the awe inspiring sound of the Melbourne Town Hall Grand Pipe Organ!
