Our final IMPACT celebration was a Mother Daugther brunch. It was the sweetest celebration, honoring these incredible girls and their moms who have loved, supported, and encouraged this group through the years.

What started years ago as simple Thursday mornings became something so much bigger. Our mornings were about friendship, faith, and a sense of belonging.

Watching these young women grow into who they are today has been one of life’s greatest blessings. We have laughed, we have prayed, we have celebrated all the moments, big and small, and today we brought it all full circle.

As these ladies step into their next season of life, my prayer is that they walk confidently, love deeply, stay grounded in faith, and always remember how cherished they are.

Thank you for the best 7 years! I will forever have a place in my heart for each of you. 🩷

Blake Delman, the General Manager of the Holiday Inn Resort Oceanfront at Surfside Beach, stopped by today to present a check to the Myrtle Beach High DECA Club on behalf of Innisfree Hotels and The Hive Foundation for $5,000!

The HIVE Foundation is a self-sustaining philanthropic organization that works to make their partner communities better!

The $5,000 will be used toward 2 scholarships for dedicated DECA Club members, for travel to state and national competitions, and to aid in community-related projects.

Mr. Delman also dropped off boxes of hygiene products for the care closet – a closet that is set up for MBHS students in need. We are SO thankful to Mr. Delman, Innisfree Hotels, and the HIVE Foundation for their dedication to our students! It takes a village and we couldn’t do it without our partners!

We attended the International Career Development Conference and Competition in Atlanta last week! Mrs. Millen, along with 16 DECA members who qualified at the state competition for nationals went to Atlanta! The students competed in human resource management, integrated marketing campaigns, sport marketing, quick service restaurant management and more! While we didn’t take a national place, we had the best time and learned so much! Over 26,000 students from across the world attended! We attended the Braves game, went to Six Flags, the Georgia Aquarium and more We are so lucky to have so many very generous business sponsors who helped make this trip a reality for these very deserving students! We already can’t wait for next year!! #soanyways #shelbyyyycount #letsplaythequietgame 🔹🔹
