Back again today celebrating our currently enrolled students!! One of our favorite things is seeing our Lanti students take what they’ve learned in classes, lessons, and productions and bring that talent to their school stages! We are SO proud of each of you!

Many of our students are performing in school plays participating in the NCTC (North Carolina Theatre Conference) High School Play Festival! This statewide festival brings high school theatre programs together to share their productions, celebrate their hard work, and receive valuable feedback from theatre professionals. It’s an incredible opportunity for young performers to grow, learn, and cheer on fellow theatre students from across North Carolina.

The shows are starting THIS WEEK, so check out these productions and go support our amazing Lanti students!

A special shout-out to one of our students who recently took on the iconic role of Ursula in her school’s production of The Little Mermaid! What a role to tackle!

And we can’t forget our Lanti alumni! Several of our students who graduated in the past couple of years are continuing to perform on their school stages, and we love seeing them keep pursuing their passion for theatre.

We know we’ve missed a couple of our talented students on this list! Some of their shows haven’t arrived just yet, and there isn’t much information available online for us to share just yet. But don’t worry… there’s SO much more to come from this incredible group of young performers! We can’t wait to keep celebrating them as their shows get closer.

To every student stepping into the spotlight, working backstage, learning new skills, and putting your heart into your craft: we are cheering you on every step of the way! We are so proud to be part of your journey.

For the last couple of weeks, I exchanged my camera (until yesterday) and picked up paintbrushes, power tools, and approximately 47,392 staples. (Don’t fact-check that.)

Helping bring @lantiperformingarts Mamma Mia! to life. Working behind the scenes has been the best reminder that community theatre is basically a bunch of people saying, “Sure, I can figure that out,” until suddenly... there’s a Greek island on stage.

I spend a lot of my life telling stories through my camera, but it’s really fun to help build the story that happens in front of the lens too.

Community theatre is full of people giving up evenings, weekends, and probably a little bit of their sanity to create something that brings joy to complete strangers. That’s a pretty incredible thing to be part of.

So if you need an excuse to sing ABBA songs at the top of your lungs (or at least quietly in your seat), come support local arts. You’ll leave smiling, humming the music, and maybe wondering if you, too, should own a staple gun.

(And no... my kiddos aren’t in this one. But a pretty big piece of my heart is. 💙) Join us today! 1 pm or 6:30 pm. You won’t regret it! (Link in stories)
