A favourite room of ours, up on the second floor of the brewery 💭

Filled with light from the skylights overhead, with original ceramic tiles throughout.

Rest in peace Helch 🕊️

Very sad to hear about the loss of someone from the community that had such a visible presence around us and across the globe.

Tucked away on busy Commercial St lies a former 19th century stable building, catching a bit of late summer sun… 🌤️

We recently stopped by @tygar ‘s studio just round the corner from us to chat about his artwork + process //

Built around memory, repetition and found objects, his artistic practice ranges from transforming old books, repurposing snooker memorabilia and everyday ephemera into works that sit somewhere between diary making and conceptual art.

Known to many as a familiar face at @slamcityskates on Dray Walk, but beyond the shop floor he has quietly built a distinctive practice centred around nostalgia and everyday life.

We dropped by the @blanksfactory HQ, where merch, design + culture are all wrapped up under one roof 🧵

Over the last decade, Jonny + co-founder Dion have built Blanks Factory into a behind the scenes powerhouse for music + fashion merch - from screen printing in their own studio to global projects with artists like @oliviadeano , @centralcee + @santandave .

Special thanks to @jonnysoon + @blanksfactory 🫂

We visited Jake’s studio here on Brick Lane, where discarded factory foam is transformed into heat sensitive + body responsive sculptural furniture 🛋️

From experimenting with reactive fabrics to designing immersive, interactive pieces, his work blurs the lines between fashion, furniture, + art. Keep an eye out on what’s to come in October...
