✨ NEW EPISODE LIVE ✨

VALO Podcast Episode 5 is now live 🤍

In this episode, I have the honour of hosting @annahanvenemies for a deeply honest and meaningful conversation about identity, belonging, motherhood, faith, and finding home.

Anna shares her story of growing up with Korean roots in Australia, navigating the feeling of being an outsider, living under high expectations, and learning how both discipline and pressure can shape who we become.

We talk about motherhood, marriage, balancing personal dreams with family life, and what it means to surrender your life to God’s grace and live for His kingdom.

This conversation is for anyone who has ever questioned where they belong, wrestled with identity, balanced family and personal calling, or searched for deeper purpose.

✨ Honest conversations about life, faith, identity, and becoming whole.

What actually happens when we do coil folds 👇

I used to just do them because every recipe said to. No idea what was actually going on.✌🏻

Turns out, if you don’t understand what’s happening, you won’t know when to stop- or when your dough actually needs more.

Here’s what’s really going on:

• Every fold builds gluten strength. You’re creating layers that trap gas- that’s what gives you that open, airy crumb.

Once I understood that, I stopped guessing.

Now I can feel when the dough is ready.

Still getting flat, dense loaves?

I made a free guide covering the 3 mistakes that ruin most sourdough- comment “GUIDE” and I’ll send it to you 🍞

Our signature Sourdough banana bread🤤

this one is inspired by one of my favourite Aussie cafe’s in Sydney at Balmoral beach🥹 one of my favourite spots..

The cafe released their recipe online and I found someone had tweaked it into a sourdough recipe using olive oil- but then I tweaked it so the olive oil wouldn’t be so overpowering and it became a nice balance with all the flavours.

I’m so glad I gave it a shot and tested it until I found the right balance 🙌🏻

Have it toasted with some butter and you’re in heaven🤌🏻

Thank you for all your love and feedback on this special one- it always brings back memories of home❤️

if you’ve tried it before- let me know in the comments 🫶🏻

Real sourdough is fermented- that means Lactobacillus (the good bacteria) is doing its thing.

It’s easier on your gut. Easier to digest. And made with just 3 ingredients: flour, water, salt.

No preservatives. No shortcuts.

Just bread the way it’s supposed to be. 🍞

Did you know it was only 3 ingredients?
